When we walked into the first motel room the beds were unmade & the sheets were never changed. We went back to the office to get a different room. The next room was near the first unmade room. We were so tired because we got to the motel after 9 pm after working all day, that we did not ask for a 3rd room even though we felt that the sheets on the beds […] had not been changed. The check-in staff was nice, the very minimal breakfast was convenient, and upon inspection the bed was clean. We only stayed here on our way somewhere else, so it worked. I could not have stayed longer than 1 night, at least not in the room we were in. The room smelled dank, the bathroom ceiling was falling apart, and the shower was not one I would […] have stepped into. "Staff was great- hotel was okay"
The best part about the hotel was the staff. The gentleman who worked the front desk at our arrival and again when we checked out was most pleasant, helpful and respectful. The rooms were basic but clean. The pet deposit was very reasonable. I was just traveling through and needed a bed and shower. For the price, this was sufficient. Room was clean but the hallway was dirty. The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was also located near restaurants and other businesses. It was quite convenient to the Carlisle Fairgrounds which hosts several automotive shows I attend every year. The rates are reasonable and include a continental breakfast.
