I have booked rooms with hotels.com for many years. This was the first negative experience. The room was not clean...carpet, bed covers, mold on shower. The pocket door on bathroom was broken. The room was on the end next to the road. It was noisy.
"Fabulous Buckhead Location"
Everything was just great! We picked it on a budget and it exceeded all of our expectstions. Close to all major shopping and easily found! Will always stay here for future ATL trips as most of our work is done in Buckhead area! This did not feel like a budget hotel!

This is not for the 5 star hotel people, but if you want a good place to say at a great rate. Then this is the place to stay. It's clean and affordable. The desk staff couldn't be more welcoming.

Me and my girlfriend were having a girls night out in Buckhead! We were participating in a pub crawl and needed a place to stay. This hotel is in a great location, the staff could not have been nicer, and the complimentary breakfast was a plus! "You get what you pay for..."
We arrived late (11:30pm) and were told that there was no reservation in my name. Fortunately, I had an email on my smartphone with the reservation number. It turns out that the manager had already "checked us in" but didn't tell the clerk, so that the reservation disappeared. Anyway, we got the room. The room was pretty minimal...shower, no tub, small […] bath area, one chair. Overuse of air freshener forced us to open the window. Bed was OK, but sheets were threadbare. "Country Inn & Suites-very nice location"
This is a good location for the money. I lived in Atlanta for many years near this hotel, and it is in a great locale. I like the Marshals, restaurants and Lindberg Marta station a 1 block away.
"Poor check in and run down"
The front desk was unmanned for at least 10 minutes while I and another guest waited to check in. (I could go on and on). In addition, the security doors didn't lock. The general property was in a rather run down state. I will not stay at this property again. There are too many better hotel options in the area at the same price.

I thought this hotel was delightful. It is set up differently from any other hotel I've been in and it felt VERY homey. I loved the quaint, cozy lobby and was impressed with the wide variety of the continental breakfast. The parking lot is inconvenient, but I understand that Atlanta has its quirks. I was thankful for the free parking, free wireless, […] and free breakfast. We had an event in midtown and it was worth it to stay 10-15 minutes out in order to have those free conveniences. "Great hotel for the price"
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The lobby is very attractive and inviting. The only cons were the bathrooms are very small and it's a little hard to find and get to. The eggs at breakfast are just okay. Otherwise, a great place to stay.

My family and I stayed in a suite in this hotel. The suite was large enough for the three of us and it even had two full bathrooms. The bedroom is very cozy and reminds me of my own bedroom. The suite was very clean and it included two flat screen tvs. I really enjoyed the free breakfast that this place offers. My family really enjoyed that they were […] able to make their own waffles. Wireless was free and so was the parking. They even have the Otis Spunkmeyer cookies in the lobby for your enjoyment. The only complaint would be if you didn't know exactly where to turn to get to this place, you could easily pass it up. Also, when you leave the premises, you can only take a right turn. Great hotel but bed was not the most comfortable I have slept on.

The hotel was easy to find, VERY friendly staff, awesome free breakfast. The neighborhood was great, quiet, close to a few eating places and/or gas stations. Very satisfied with this hotel.

This is the best value for $ in Buckhead. Good location, Clean room, free parking, break fast and internet. Cant beat that. The break fast had lots of options and was very good. Friendly staff. Very pleased.

The location is great - as Buckhead is to Atlanta what Manhattan is to NY. However, our room was extremely stuffy (smelling of smoke and mold); carpets throughout were vacuumed but old, worn and dirty; and the breakfast items looked like leftovers at best. If we were planning to stay in the area for more than one night, we likely would have sought another […] option for the second night. Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Atlanta At Buckhead was surprisingly clean and well decorated. Rooms/Bathrooms were stylish and very well maintained but cramped, thus slightly overpriced. The only negatives I experienced were in asking staff to go slightly beyond the established rules. I needed shuttle service at 9pm but the cut off time was 9pm, therefore […] the shuttle was not available because it needed to be AT THE Hotel at 9m, as well as in the morning, I requested shuttle service at 11am, and the cut off time was at 11am. I also requested a late check out (1pm), to which I was called and asked to check out at 11:30am. If my request was going to be denied, I would have appreciated being told in advance and not startled from my sleep. Lisateave
"Excellent. Great value for money"
Hotel is located in the swanky Buckhead area. Very close to the great Lenox Square Mall. More importantly, font desk staff is friendly. And the hot breakfast served in the morning is great value.

The hotel was great! Quite. Wonderful breakfast. Loved the little patio off of the dining area. Workers were very friendly. Always smiling and laughing. Enjoyed reading my book by the fireplace in the "library" area early in the morning. Our daughter is expecting a baby in March and this place is less then 2 miles from her place. Perfect!!

The room is small, breakfast adequate, good access to internet. Staff services are not that great, we stayed at level 2 ,and upstairs, there was noise like flushing a very noisy toilet from 6am and we usually we came back at 7pm but the noise is constantly flushing every few seconds, may be some kind of machinery going on unitl 12:30 midnight, every […] night. We asked the staff if maintenance was going on and they said No, I tried to tell her the noise by describing what we heard, but she seemed to ignore me, not listening and just continue her conversation with another staff, very rude. Everything was great except that it's hard to get to from Piedmont Avenue - you have to go way past the hotel, which is on the other side of a divided roadway, to make a U-turn. I guess there are other ways to get to the hotel if you map it out. "clean, comfy, & only one complaint..."
Breakfasts were awesome, free cookies in the lobby were great, rooms were small but very well fancied up. Bed was great. House keeping did a great job. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and accomidating. Here is my one complaint: I could hear the door leading to the back parking lot slam every single time and although I could never hear […] my neighbours above or next to me I could hear every word, step, etc in the hallway. Kind of annoying when trying to sleep and a bunch of noisy guys come barreling in the back door from I'm assuming a night out on the town. Hotel was nice but I was new to Atlana and did not really like the location. I was told Buckhead had a night life. All we could find were sports bars. No bars with any live music. We found a hotel with some head bnging disco music but that was not our style at all. If I ever go to Atlanta again, I would opt to stay closer to maybe Midtown or at least […] at a hotel with a Bar/Entertainment venue right at the hotel. Lisateave

The shuttle service to and from the airport was very convenient as was the shuttle to the nearby MARTA station.

"Country Inn & SuitesI n the middle of it All."
Excellent for the price. Location was great. The room were very nice, just enough room for a couple. I would stay again. Parking was a plus and Breakfast was outstanding!!!!! The service was wonderful.

The hotel was wonderful, the room was clean, fresh, great decor and very comfortable. I am very picky when it comes to linen, and closely inspect everything- all met my expectations and more. The walk-in shower w/o a tub was great. I think tubs in hotels should be out-lawed, who would sit in a hotel bathtub?!? The only problem, we never got a replacement […] light bulb in the bathroom, thanks to the light in the shower we were not completely in a dark bathroom. I would also recommend a full length mirror in the room. The location was perfect for getting downtown 7-10 minute drive, neighborhood was good and quick shopping and restaurants nearby. Lisateave

"Nice room for the price, but...."
Our room was very nice for this price point in this area of Atlanta ( clean and cozy, updated decor), and the complimentary breakfast was great! My only complaint is that we found the bed to be very uncomfortable - the mattress and pillows were way too soft for our liking and the comforter way too heavy. I would suggest bringing your own pillow, if […] traveling by auto! Also, would suggest that the hotel have lighter blankets available in the room for those who don't like to be weighted down by the bed linens. Lisateave

I liked the hotel, great prices!.... our room was really small and we were the room next to elevators so the noise was really annoying! I loved the location food and stores everywhere. I would go again but hopefully get a suite so its bigger (i hope). I loved my time in atlanta def will go again not sure of the same hotel but I would recommend them […] but def will tell them about the size of rooms. I left some pictures there I called and told the front desk that they fell behind a night stand. I havent heard back from them yet. Its been 3 days now. My hopes are now down for getting them back...... Lisateave
