"Forget the indoor pool"
Other than the fact that the hotel is being painted etc., the license plate from my rental car was stolen from the car in the parking lot, and the rooms were really austere, the worst thing was the advertised indoor pool It was in the fifties outside. We booked this hotel for the indoor pool for our grandson's visit. It was freezing cold in the pool […] area. Might as well been outside. The water was frigid. The air was unheated. It was unusable. I asked if some heat could be turned on, but was told" that's the way it is" Well, this is the "way it is", this hotel has nothing and doesnt try to give anything. It was an older location, but the people were nice and it was quiet during the week. It was a little noisy on the weekend. Overall not a bad value.

My hotel room had bed bugs, woke up with them crawling on my arm. I was in room 201.

I had to stay only for one night checked in at midnight and checked out at 11 pn the morning,. Being Close by to the airport is a plus. It is a decent hotel for what i paid. The bed was a little itchy to go to bed..other than thatt..everything is ok...
"Several issues with this property!"
1) Customer NO Service! It was midnight, I was lost and trying to find the hotel only to be hung up on by an ego-maniac who was part owner (Abbas). I later learned the hotel was under new mgmt. 2) Hotel under construction and No fore warning or sign to what I was walking into.. I was looking for work- space and was told there was no place to put a […] laptop. I had to vacate the room with no courtesy from mgmt as giving me a couple hours grace period to work in the room! 3) Not sticking to shuttle schedule: I had to leave when THEY told me to, otherwise, I would have to take a cab to the airport. The night before, mgmt had sign a book noting a certain time the shuttle was leaving--they decided to pick their own time and ignore my request per their own sign-in sheet. I DO NOT and WILL NOT recommend this hotel under ANY circumstances! Im considering asking for my money back due to this horrible experience! Lisateave

"Simple but adequate"
I just needed a safe and clean place to sleep and this facility provided both along with a much needed shuttle service to and from the airport.

"Only if you don't mind smell of smoke"
Was looking to balance out cost of hotel with not paying airport parking, but it was $5 a day while not there on my trip. Hotel smelled like cigarettes. Purpose was to save money, so passable. Had it been for pleasure or more than one night, would not recommend unless price is only consideration.

They allow pets... awesome. They have fields close by for walking dogs. The hotel needs a little maintenance, but they were doing that while I was there last; it didn't interfere with my stay. The staff was super, on all levels. I will definitely go back. Great stay for the price.
The workers at the hotel were very nice. We had to stay an extra day, and they were more than helpful

"TRY to avoid at all costs"
We stayed there for 7 nights as we were trying to be b/n Dallas and Fort Worth. The location is convenient, however, event that was questionable as now (Jan 2012) there is lots of construction in the area and getting to and from hotel could be tricky. The service was horrible, staff is not pleasant and abrupt. The hours for swimming pool are 10AM to […] 10PM which makes it hard to use and breakfast from 6AM to 9AM - was hard for us to make it as we were on vacation and didn't get up early enough. Breakfast food is plain and very basic (waffles, muffins, boiled eggs, cereal). They don't put out enough food. On the last morning when lots of people were in the hotel we didn't get any food by 8AM. Our room was vacuumed once in the entire stay but the girl would knock on our door every morning at 9AM trying to see if we want the room cleaned. She would wake us up and I'd tell her to come back later, hoping she would clean the room - she changed trash bags and fold the towels. Bad choice for the price. Could have been staying in Plano Westin for less money. But found out too late. Lisateave
"nice budget stay"
We had a pleasant enough experience at this location. The room was spacious and clean and the staff was pleasant and helpful. We spent very little time in the room itself since we had plans for New Years Eve, and staff did allow us a late checkout the next day as it was New Years Day and we had a late flight out that day. They helped arrange a cab for […] us in the evening we arrived, and provided shuttle service to the airport the next day. This is not the fanciest place, but was perfectly acceptable for a quick overnight stay on our way back home from Central America. Lisateave
"Sleep Inn DFW"
The location of the hotel is great in the fact that it is 2 miles from the DFW airport. However navigating to reach the destination was extremely difficult due to all the construction. Also parking lot could not accommodate all of the guests so people were parking in red zones that are labeled fire zones.

Good for short stay. Room was clean. Staff very friendly, shuttle service to airport is convenient..
"Gets the job done"
We stayed here because we had a 7am flight and they have a free shuttle. We left our car at the hotel for $5/day. The room was just okay. The hallway smelled of smoke even in the non-smoking block of rooms. When we returned from our trip we stayed another night rather than drive really late. This time no smoke, but the sliding bathroom door was loose […] and creaky. The shuttle never came for us and we had to catch a ride from a neighboring hotel shuttle service. Continental breakfast was minimal. The only nearby place to eat is Whataburger. But it was cheap and safe and fine for a pre and post-flight night of sleep. Lisateave

"The Sleep Inn DFW North Hotel"
This is a great hotel to stay overnight while waiting for plane connections the next morning. I always stay here because it is just a few minutes from DFW airport, and the hotel sends a shuttle when you call from the airport upon arrival. Plus, they take you to the airport for your flight the next day. Everything about this place was excellent for the price we paid. The only detractor about the place was the fact that I was woken up a few times during the night and earyly morning due to planes flying over.

I always stay overnight at this hotel when I need to make a connecting flight the next day. Their free shuttle service makes it very convenient. Just phone the hotel when you arrive at DFW and tell them which terminal you are at, and they will t ell you where to wait for the shuttle.

No tub just shower. When i called down and asked he said that i wanted king bed so this is what i got. No frig. It stated they were upon request but the guy said no. Shuttle to airport was very bad.

I booked this hotel because of the location and the price. If you're looking for a nice, decent hotel in a seemingly safe neighborhood, this is the place! Everything was okay about this hotel. I would stay here again to save money. Needs more parking spaces.

Pool was great closes at 10pm, breakfast was good with make your own waffles, cold boiled eggs. Very close to DFW and can get to airport via local road to avoid construction north of airport. Will stay again.

"Only stay here if nothing else available"
Staff poorly trained and barely spoke. Not welcoming or friendly. Also, I had to ask about internet (need password which apparently he was not going to give me unless I asked, about breakfast, shuttle to airport, vending machine, etc. There are plenty of hotels by the airport and I would suggest you try any other one before using this one.

This hotel is everything you need when you are stuck in DFW for an unscheduled overnight layover. Free shuttle service both ways, friendly front desk, and a continental breakfast. Perfectly adequate!
