This hotel was a very convenient location to the subway station in Arabella Park which made it easy to travel to city center. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and stay at this hotel.

This Hotel offers nice and comfortable room but the Bathroom is very small for a Sheraton Standard, also their are many hidden extra charges that you need to be aware of, Internet is only allowed in the lobby for 45 Min, additional usage will result in additional payment, Elevators are very small and not convenant , this Hotel deserves only 4 star and […] not 4 and a half. Our room was spacious and modern (yet not at all "cold") and absolutely immaculate. It was beautifully lit with soft music playing when we entered; the hotel's spa included a gym and pool which were quite nice and, very importantly, although the hotel was busy, the service from the hotel staff was exceptional. We booked the room for Octoberfest, knowing […] it wasn't in the city center nor the closest hotel to the "Wiese" -- and that is the only reason we couldn't give it five stars for location. To be fair, though, the hotel is located in a very nice section of Munich and easily accessible from the major routes into the city. All in all, we would certainly stay there again for a romantic weekend in Munich, as we had, or for business. It had a very different ambience than a family hotel, though, so I would advice against it for children. Note: There's a municipal parking lot adjacent to the hotel that I parked in (at my expense) because I didn't see the hotel's parking sign. The Sheraton's parking is in an underground garage, the entrance to which is just beyond the hotel's circular driveway entrance. Hope you find this review helpful! Lisateave

Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day stay in Munich. On arrival were greeted warmly. Khlaid, concierge Desk, has left a nice lasting impression with his helpfulness and friendliness along with his collegue on the next morning- thanks guys. The Sheraton Munich Arabellapark Hotel was very nice. Although check in is at 1500 they allowed us to check in at 1300, which was great because we had been traveling for a long time. Although the hotel charges for internet in your room, free wireless internet is available in the lobby and they have six computers and a printer right off the lobby. There […] are many restaurants close to the hotel. We tried the Sheratons Beer Garden, Mediterranean and Indian restaurants .All were good. The Arabellapark underground station is a five minute walk from the hotel and there are many shops on the way including a very good bakery and a large grocery. On Thursday, there was a farmers market in the commons behind the hotel. Lisateave

This is probably the worst Sheraton I've seen. The lobby is being re-developed, so the entrance to the hotel is actually a small (cheap plastic) door. Once you get in, there is a small piece of paper sign saying the check in is on level 1. There is no-one to ask for direction on the ground floor and I found myself walking around in all direction before […] actually finding the check-in area. The building itself looks cheap, as well as the hotel halls. The room itself looked relatively OK, but the bathroom was a real disappointment again - tired old tiles. Also, there is no concierge service on the ground floor and taxis can't get close to the entrance. I was trying to find a taxi by walking around the hotel, and had to walk to nearby Westin hotel to find a taxi. I witnessed other Sheraton guests trying to do the same. This hotel is across the street from where we had a conference. The food is very expensive - go to the bakery nearby or the grocery store for food. Also, you can take a quick subway ride to lots of food and shopping. Service was great - I needed a converter to use my laptop and they provided me with one. The internet prices at Sheratons if very high […] - oh well, cost of doing business I suppose. Dinner was average and very expensive, breakfast is extremely overpriced. They gave us two twin beds instead of the king bed that was advertised, but the room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Not much on tv in english in Germany, so if you get bored at night, bring your laptop and dvds or movie downloads. Interestingly, I found that you cannot watch or download any american movies or tv while in Europe. You need to download them before you come. I guess it is some type of agreement between the countries and may have to do with royalties, etc.(?). Remember Octoberfest activities actually start in September - Go and have a good time! The Sheraton Arabella Park is a lovely Hotel with extremely friendly staff who go out of their way to help. The rooms are large and very clean, and room service excellent. Watch out for that minibar! It is electronically monitored so that anything you touch or bump in there, you are charged for automatically. Each item rests on a sensor, so even moving items to see what is in there, you get fined. You must go down and tell them you did not eat/drink anything, and they will credit your account. Also, 4 star hotel with […] 1 ply TP? Come on! Otherwise, a very nice hotel, great rooms with balconies, but the swimming pool is very much hidden upstairs and I wasn't sure it was included in the cost, so I didn't swim. Also, the bathrooms are tiny - the length of the bathtub. And if you don't like the packet of instant coffee they leave in the room, you are encouraged to use room service to order a 4 Euro cup of coffee instead. What is up with nice hotels and coffee these days. Cheap hotels ubiquitously have coffee pots and real coffee included. TVs in Germany turn on with a channel selection, NOT the power button. Get ready for that illogic! I'd stay here again, or in the comparably priced Westin across the street. Although there are no restaurants around this hotel (it's not downtown), there are shops and cafes and even a grocery store nearby, and free parking if you drive around the block a few times. It is a good value considering the money that we paid. It is a truly 5-star hotel.

THIS HOTEL WAS LOVELY GREAT SERVICE AND FABULOUS FOOD. IF IN MUNICH AGAIN I WOULD DEFINATELY BOOK THIS ONE.

Stayed here for 2 nights while going to see Oktoberfest. Enjoyed a swim in the pool, it wa very quiet on a Sunday morning. Pity breakfast wasn't included, that would have made things much better... Overall a nice place, booked at short-ish notice - I would look for something cheaper if everyhting hadn't already been booked.

Will definitely go back and stay there. The only thing which I didn't like in all the hotels was the high amount u need to pay for internet.

After staying in series of 2 and 3 star hotels in Germany I decided to try this 4-star hotel as it does offer some good value room rates online but was disappointed: The hotel is far from the centre of Munich. My 'Non-smoking room' stank of cigarettes. I got a 4am wake-up call I did not ask for. You will probably pay more than the room rates as this […] is a money-grabbing hotel for example: Although every floor has two ice-machines they are 'out of order' - you need to order ice from room service for €4. The hotel provides internet access for €12 per hour. Also the restaurant is very over-priced (€12 for a glass of wine) and there are very few bars/restaurants near the hotel. Lisateave

En el restaurante/bar del hotel, cobran más por una botella de agua de 750cc, que por una hamburguesa ¡ Tened cuidado ya que los precios de las bebidas son de escandalo ¡Al preguntar nos dijeron que ahí es donde el hotel ganaba con los márgenes. OJO, en pag web dicen que se soliciten camas supletorias directamente con el hotel y cuando pedí una, me […] dijeron que no cabía en la habitación. Lisateave

Die Parkgebühren von 20.-€ sind etwas happig. Ansonsten gibt es nichts zu meckern.

pro: -Lage (ca. 10 min mit der U-Bahn zum Hauptbahnhof) -Lobby (sehr schön und modern) -Zimmer (Ausstattung neu und komfortabel) -Ausblick contra: -Teilweise sehr unfreundliches, uninformiertes (z.B. über die Öffnungszeiten der Sauna) Personal an der Rezeption -Saunabereich (Kelleratmosphäre und für die größe des Hotels recht klein)

sehr komfortabel, sehr gutes Früstücksbuffet.

Near the city center and easy access to motorway towards the airport. Ideal for car renting trips.

Er fornøyd på alle vis. Vi ankom klokken halv 1 på natten og de sa at da kunne vi jo gjerne sjekke ut ved 1-2 tiden dagen etter, noe vi gjorde uten problemer. Roomservicen har helt super, anbefaler pizzaen og eplekaken! Kjempehyggelig personal og trivelig spa/relaxavdeling på toppen med super utsikt. Også rommene holdt veldig høy standard. Gratis parkering […] på gatene utenfor hotellet og gratis internet i lobbyen. Kort vei med bil til Olympiaplatz (5 min) - anbefaler en tur på BMW museet. Lisateave

Die Zimmer sind sehr modern und edel eingerichtet. Die Aussicht vom Balkon aus ist genial. Der Wellnessbereich im obersten Stock(22.) ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber die Aussicht über die Stadt mit Sonnenuntergang vom Liegestuhl aus ist genial. Das Hotel ist etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums, sehr ruhig gelegen und bietet einige gemütliche Gartenrestaurants […] direkt im Quartier. Lisateave

Sehr netter und professioneller Empfang, super Zimmer! Herrlicher Blick über München und die Alpen!!! Sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung (U, Tram, Bus)

Die Zimmer sind modern und schlicht gehalten, wie auch der Rest des Hotels. Von Außen eher abschreckend, von Innen jedoch überzeugend. Die einzige Enttäuschung war der SPA Bereich. Der ausblick war zwar schön, das Wasser jedoch kalt und auch der Saunabereich ist nicht sonderlich einladend gestaltet. dennoch ein schönes Hotel.

Vi ankom til Hotellet efter 12 timer på Motorvejen fra Danmark, og havde egentlig først Tjek ind kl. 15 men da vi kom kl. 13 var det intet problem at få værelset. Det var mega lækkert og en fantastisk overraskelse at hotellet var så lækkert. Nød nogle timer i poolen og weelness området og hyggede med mad i baren i forhallen inden vi skulle til koncert. […] Super lækker morgen buffé næste morgen.. Der var god service og ja et lækkert sted at tilbringe dage. Jeg kommer helt sikkert igen lige på det hotel hvis jeg nogensinde skal til Munchen igen. Alt i Alt en Fantastisk oplevelse. Lisateave

Bra standard, dyr frokost og internett. Veldig varmt rom, dette ble det ikke gjort noe med. Fantastisk basseng i øverste etasje. Lang vei til sentrum. 15 min med u-bahn hver vei blir kjedelig.
