the matresses in the hotel were disgusting. The box springs on both beds were water stained, torn and looked filthy. THe service was good, and the people were great, but the mattresses repulsed me.

The room was clean and spacious. In the evening we turned on the TV to watch the weather. TV picture quality was so bad you could barely make out the screen. I called the front desk he said there had been no other place complaints about the TV service. So we had no TV the entire Friday night. Make sure you get a room well away from stair wells, especially the one near the front desk/central entrance. Burlington Railroad train crews come and go at all hours of the night going on or off duty and they stomp their way up & down the stairs and into their rooms. This place was everything you want-convenient location, great free breakfast, lovely room and comfortable beds. Being a person with COPD however, the one drawback for me was having to climb stairs. The price was very affordable, we paid under $75 for a Thursday night dbl bed room.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The best part was the breakfast. Food was good and it even had a waffle maker that was outstanding! I would definitely stay here again!

The room was fine... bathroom is small and there are not as many extras as some places don't expect lotion and the towels were small. The free breakfast was cereal and cinnamon rolls. I guess there was a waffle maker but I didn't see anyone using it. Lady watching breakfast supplies was crabby. They had a whole section of hot water and coffee pots and […] none of that worked. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. This location worked great for me with shopping and food close by. The hotel has a waffle machine for breakfast with other items. Great value

Horrible. When we were checking in we should have known it was going to be a dump. An older gentleman, drunk on moonshine, walked into the lobby, mumbled something and tripped down the stairs. When we entered the hallway to the rooms it stink of cigarettes. We opened to the door of the room we were punched in the face by cigarette stench. Kind of run down. It was okay for a no frills one night stay, but needs a lot of work. AC/Heater was broken and not sealed. Only two pillows and they were in poor condition. Smelled like smoke, but was a nonsmoking room.

We booked a non-smoking room but the room reeked of smoke! There were even ashtrays in the bathroom so obviously not a non-smoking room. When we asked about another room, we were told that nothing was available. The reservation was for 2 adults, 2 children and the room we were given had a king bed and a pull-out couch instead of 2 beds. We have stayed numerous times to take in events with our children going to school at UNL--we were not able to stay in the booked room because they carpets had been just been cleaned. . .what a bonus for us! It was fine. Breakfast selection should be more varied and larger. Lighting in room needs to be improved. Because smoking is allowed in some rooms, most of hallways smell of smoke. Lotion is always a nice touch in bathrooms.

We traveled to Lincoln to shop and catch the Husker game! Everything at the hotel was clean and we had a fridge and microwave in our room. Right at the junction of two main thoroughfares on the north end of town. There were plenty of places open right near the hotel for dining after the evening game.

The rate was reasonable. The rooms were clean. The bed comfortable. I don't smoke, so the odor from past smokers was present. The hotel could use some updating with carpet and paint. Breakfast was fine.

The room was very clean, very nice staff though I hardly interacted with them, but that's how I prefer it. A/C worked perfectly, bed and recliner were very comfortable. Amazing price for booking within one month of the Husker game and we were VERY close to the stadium. Overall wonderful experience, would recommend to anyone.

Hallways/stairs smelt horrible like ciggaretts but the room didn't have a smell. Room was clean and staff was polite. Good hotel for a Husker football game weekend quick trip. My wife and I are active people so we don't spend a lot of time in our hotel room, just needed a clean place to sleep. We would stay here again.

The hotel tried to put us in a smoking room. My daughter has issues with smoke and I have never had this happen before. They put us in a King one bedroom non smoking below the steps and we listened to everyone go up and down and in and out. NO sleeping in this hotel. Will never trust a two star from Expedia again. More like a one star-. Would not give […] more than two extra pillows per room when it only came with three small ones on the King bed. We had an enjoyable stay. The only complaint we had: we felt the beds were much too hard. Know you can't please everyone's sleeping aches and pains. Thanks for the continental breakfast and getting a room where we did not have to climb a lot of steps.

The staff was nice, but the beds were very brokedown and uncomfortable. Also the door room key access did not work very well, you had to repeatedly jam the key card into the slot. I have stayed here long time ago and was disappointed in the decline of conditions.

Some things could use some work, in terms of upkeep. However the staff is very helpful. Nothing is seriously broken or unusable just not as repaired as possible.

You get what you pay for, it is an okay place to stay if all you are looking for is a place to sleep. The room smelled funny, was very humid, and the carpet made our feet black. However, the staff was friendly.
