Ramada Limited/Conference Center-Mt. Sterling - Mount Sterling

The front desk staff was very accommodating, not to mention helpful and respectful. The room was clean and comfortable, and there was free wi-fi. This was a good place to stay while making a trek across Kentucky.

Rooms were not clean. Feces by toilet. Staff smoking at entrance and was difficult to enter at times.

The only issue I had was that the beds were pretty hard. Other than that, the rooms were nice and clean. The staff was super friendly. indoor poor room was great for the kids.

This was my second stay at the Ramada Limited in Mt Sterling KY. I stayed there once in 2010 and chose to stay again because my experience before was good. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast did not have as good of a selection as other hotels I have stayed at, but it is free! The hotel is close […] to a lot of restaurants and shopping. There is also a movie theater nearby. I stayed there both times to go to events at the KY Horse Park. It is a little far away, but it is all highway driving. The rates are really great as well. If you are going to eat in the area I'd recommend the Cracker Barrel. The food and service were great. The hotel staff were very nice & helpful. I think the suite was overpriced. To get a king size bed & a Jacuzzi tub sitting in the same room. The location was great. I think they need to reconsider the pricing of a suite, considering what the suite consist of. Other than that I was pleased with my stay.

Dust on everything in the room, and nasty dirty caulking around the bottom of the toilet. Chemicals in pool so strong it burnt your eyes to even sit around it. Front desk clerk was seldom available.

Overall, it was ok. I would likely stay again while traveling I64. Toilet was loose--banged around a bit.

We were in a non smoking room but the smoke from other rooms came in through the vents. Im not sure why they have the smoking and the non so close. If you can handle the smell it is a nice hotel.

This hotel was very efficient in the checking in and checking out process. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was nice. The beds were not as comfortable as I like, but some people prefer the firmer mattress. Also, the pool area was very clean, but the chlorine was so strong that it caused a reaction on my daugher's face (when she does not typically […] have ths reaction). We were glad that they were ensuring it's cleanliness though so I guess it was fine. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely go back again. :) Lisateave

Very comfortable place, friendly staff. I'm not a fan of new horizontal-screen televisions and the distorted picture they produce if the screen size is not carefully calibrated to the individual monitor. This one was typical of the many I've seen with distorted displays, but that's a flaw in the new technology, not Ramada's fault. (Tongue-in-cheek […] complaint: The selection of cable channels did not include the one that carried the the University of Kentucky basketball game the night I stayed there.) (Sincere suggestion: I could find no listing of TV channels in the room and had to call the front desk to inquire whether that channel was available.) Lisateave

Stay off the first floor, otherwise it sounds like a herd of elephants all night long, also the smell of chlorine was off the chart on the first floor.

We were very pleased with our room. It was clean, close to the event we plan to attend and had a wonderful continental breakfast. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. After informing the front desk our dead-bolt lock did not operate correctly, nothing was attempted to fix the situation, sleeping with one-eye open the rest of the night. The bed spread had holes and stains that were absolutely disgusting. It does not even deserve a rating or review. Our entire floor was loud do to a "family reunion" or "wedding" throughout […] the entire night. Again, staff did nothing. During check-out I inquired about my complaints and the front desk said they had no notes that were passed down from the previous shift. Almost forgot this one, the elevator is a rough ride - indicating preventive maintenance may be required. Regards, Returning Ramada Customer - Never Again! Lisateave

I don't think they clean the room. Someone's socks are left at the room. The pillow smelled bad. The towel　was not clean. I have no idea how this place still exists.

The Hotel was not the cleanest and the pool was indoors and HOT. You could not even stand to go swimming because the pool room was so HOT!
