Munich Airport Marriott Hotel - Freising

Wi-Fi access patchy throughout the hotel, and expensive. WiFi should be free!

My stay at the Marriott was brief. We had just finished up our trip and needed a hotel near the airport for one night. We had a lot of bags and there was no help on check in. In fact the employees watched us struggle with the bags. You have to pay (reasonable fee) for parking 8 euro per night at a separate lot underneath the hotel. Breakfast was included […] and was very good. The rooms were very small. Bed was comfortable. Overall ok hotel for what it is -- a one nighter to get to the airport. Lisateave

This is a great hotel for anyone traveling into or out of Munich international. The staff was very helpful, and the rooms were clean and well appointed. It's an easy walk into the town of Friesing which has some good restaurants and a train station in case you want to go into Munich central (about a 30 minute ride). I highly recommend it.

In spite of the hotel name, Munich Airport Marriott Hotel, this is NOT an airport hotel. The map shows the hotel being 4 miles away...that is without regard to roadways. It took the taxi 15 minutes to get us to the hotel and cost 25 Euros each way to get too and from the airport. That said, the hotel itself was great.

Hotel was great and staff were helpful. Problems were that very early wake-up call was not recieved and airport shuttle reservation for next morning made on arrival was not recorded by staff. Consequently shuttle was not charged to room, driver demanded cash, and almost refused to take me to the airport due to crowded shuttle. In addition, shuttle ran […] about 20 minutes late. Lisateave

Great hotel and very comfortable bed

Very "American" hotel in a nice Munich suburb a short ride from the airport. What I mean by that is that the room was larger and had more closet/drawer storage than typical European hotels, and a queen sized bed rather than two twin beds pushed together. Small toiletries and face cloths like in a hotel in the US. (The other inn we stayed in did not […] provide soap or any toiletries, and only one bath towel per person.) Short walk to the "downtown" area of Freising with shops and restaurants. The hotel shuttle van to the airport was very convenient. We took an S-Bahn bus from the airport to the depot in Freising, and it was a longer walk shlepping our luggage to the hotel than we anticipated. Freising is a cute town to spend the day. Lisateave

Typical big, generic hotel. Rooms fine and clean, and staff very helpful and friendly. However, you don't get many extras for your money. We had to pay to use the computer. Shuttle fare from and to airport adds up, too. Breakfast prices were astonishing. Probably a good option for people on expense accounts, but we weren't! This hotel claims it has a shuttle to the airport, it does and it will cost you and your spouse 44 euro round trip to get back to the airport for that early morning flight. This made me madder than a hornet! With that said, the only hotel on the grounds of the airport is the Hotel Kempinski and it was 160 euro per night compared to about 80 euro at […] the Marriott. If you can find a low price hotel in Munich, you can take the S-Bahn for 8 Euro per person one way and not have to pay a round trip shuttle fee. Also, they need to clean the mold off the grout in the shower. Have these people ever heard of Clorox? Other than that, Freising is a cute city. Lisateave

The location was ideal and the breakfast buffet was good. The staff was nice. The room could have been cleaned better.

家族旅行で夜ミューヘン到着。疲れている体と時差ボケを解消してくれる快適なホテルです。さすがマリオット 系列です。部屋も広く、バスタブもゆったり。特に翌朝の朝食のおいしいことには感激。全て満足できるホテルです。

Ideaal is het station in Freising. Je wandelt ca. 10 minuten door het prachtige Freising waarna je non stop in 20 minuten op het Hauptbahnhof van München bent. Tevens kun je in het hotel voor een schappelijke prijs in een uiterst"gemüdliches"restaurant eten, waarna de moderne Lounge lonkt voor een afzakkertje.
