Stayed here as close to my brother's house, who I had come to visit. Room was lovely and comfortable. The hotel had a very nice bar, and there was a great Indian restaurant called Kerala close by. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in leicester.

Did all we wanted and more as the City centre location meant we could spend sometime shopping before leaving and our car was in a safe and secure location.Being in the energy business I think you should reduce your room temperatures - room a bit too hot.. The hotel itself was very nice and well kept, most of the staff including reception staff, room service and security were fantastic. However the night security man was extremely rude when my sister and I rang the bell to come in and for absolutely no reason. We were told by staff that you ring the door bell to enter after hours and late arrival back […] to a city centre hotel on a Saturday night is completely normal! My sister and I are very polite and courteous people so there was no reason for him to be so rude. The room we stayed in was very run down, there were stains on the carpet, holes in the wall paper, it had no fridge and pipes banged all night keeping us awake. The room was however very clean and the bed was comfy. I feel if we had stayed in a different room our experience would have been much more positive as the hotel itself is lovely (apart from the very unpleasant night security man of course) Lisateave

Service, food & room all excellent, some items a bit tired around the hotel but it's an old building! If you don't want the floors to creak then then go to a 'cloned' room in a popular hotel chain. Very good selection of food in the restaurant. Off road parking very useful & reasonable as a city centre location.

This hotel is in a fantastic location. I'm sure the hotel management realizes this. Having another hotel in this close area would be helpful to provide competition and if so, I think the Mercure could step up and become deserving of 5 stars rather than 4. They simply need to try a little harder.

on the whole i was happy with the hotel.told that room will not ready until 14.00 but was not ready till 16.00.matteres was not very comfortable and do for replacement.

In the centre of Leicecters nightlife and shopping area, this is in a great location. We have stayed here before, but it is now under new management, the Mercure Group, and I must say, they have kept the high standard I was expecting. Breakfast was beautiful, the hotel was spotless, the staff were so accomodating. Top class.

The overall rating was very good, the breakfast excellent. Unfortunately we had specifically requested a twin, and arriving at 1 o'clock in the morning (not having been able to check in prior to leaving at 2PM) we found out that a double had been provided. Too tired to make a fuss that evening the reception apologised...

Generally this hotel is looking a little tired, threadbare carpets on the second floor showed signs that this hotel has enjoyed grander times.The service and attention levels are good and location is spot on for city centre meetings. The car park is a bonus and is fairly priced, peace of mind that your car is off road is one less hassle. food service […] at breakfast was good but I think the "healthy" options could be expanded. I booked through Expedia and requested a disabled friendly room. I arrived late and the first room was down steps i couldn't manage and they very quickly, kindly and politely sorted this, assigning me another room. It was late and I was tired and just took it. However, the bed was in a recess and the phone with no room for a bedside table and the phone […] was on the other side of the room. I also had to plug my mobile in over the other side of the room. I was stranded if I needed help during the night. In the morning I found the shower had large 6-7inch step up with no hand grips for me to get in to it. I couldn't bathe, so I decided to go down to the reception and ask for help. This is where it got good. I explained my problem and was advised that while I had breakfast they would find a couple of rooms for me to choose from. They gave me lovely friendly room, with grace and without me feeling bad about it all. The hotel is tired and the food was overpriced for what it was but the staff were wonderful! I am going to France in September and my partner and I are staying in Mercure hotels and I am looking forward to it. Lisateave

The Reception area is superb and the staff all very professional. We had very good service and enjoyed our visit almost entirely - the only fault being the uncomfortable mattress! Breakfast was satisfactory plus, depending on one's own choice; full English cooked breakfast looked delicious. Quite happy to return - but it was for a wedding, unlikely […] we shall be there again! Un hotel pequeño, adorable, sobre el mismo pub. Nuestra habitación era espaciosa y cómoda, y el desayuno fue excelente. No tuvimos ningún problema aunque llegamos casi a medianoche.

레스터 시내 한 복판에 있어 주변 이동이 아주 편리함... 역에서도 도보 이동으로 5분 이내이므로 대중교통 없이 이동 가능하며, 특히 시내에 위치해 레스터 시내관광에 적합함... 다만, 조식은 다소 실망스러우니 조식포함 숙박보다는 주변에서 아침을 해결해도 좋을 듯 함

Chambre standard donnant sur une cour sale et donc pas claire du tout. Des odeurs d égouts ds la salle de bains minuscule et rentrant bien sur ds la chambre. Chevet de lit deterioré. Par contre bonne literie. Pas digne d un 4 étoiles. Je dois y retourner début novembre j espère que la chambre attribuée sera mieux!!!
