Hartford / Windsor Courtyard by Marriott - Windsor

This was the second time I've stayed at this hotel, and I have absolutely no complaints. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was very clean, and the new Bistro area was a create addition.

Hospitality is excellent. Television service in the room was poor. You be watching an interesting program on one channel and it suddenly changes to another. It was disappointing, that they did not fix it, but everything else was fine.

ROOMS ARE ALWAYS NICE, BUT THE TUB WAS GRIMY (SLIPPERY). I WASHED WITH A WASH CLOTH WITH MY FOOT AND WAS MUCH BETTER. WHEN LOOKING FOR A HOTEL I LOOK FOR BREAKFAST AND A POOL / HOT TUB. YOUR BISTRO BREAKFAST IS A HORRIBLE IDEA, DIDNT LIKE IT IN D.C. EITHER. HOT TUB WAS OUT OF SERVICE. THE POOL WAS SHUT DOWN AND THE EXPLANATION WAS THAT THERE WAS AN […] "INCIDENT" IN THE MORNING AND WILL RE-OPEN IN AN HOUR. I UNDERSTAND THINGS HAPPEN BUT PLEASE JUST TELL ME THEY ARE DOING A ROUTINE CLEANING. AFTER SHE TOLD ME THAT I COULDNT GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD AND DID NOT GO IN. BUT A COURTESY E-MAIL WOULD BE NICE WHEN AMMENITIES ARE BROKEN (HOT TUB) BECAUSE I WOULD HAVE CANCELLED AND GONE ELSEWHERE. Lisateave

STAYED OVERNIGHT AS MY GRANDDAUGHTERS DANCE COMPETITION WAS ACROSS THE STREET AT ANOTHER MARRIOTT AND THEY WERE BOOKED ROOM WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE AND FRONT DESK STAFF WERE VERY NICE. MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT WAS WE ASKED FOR A HOTTUB BY THE POOL AND IT CLOSED SO WE WERE UNABLE TO USE IT ALSO HAD TO USE STAIRS AS WE WERE ON THE SECOND FLOOR AND ELEVATORS […] WERE QUITE A WALK TO GET TO SO WE CLIMBED THE STAIRS. MY DAUGHTER WENT DOWN TO GET A FEW SNACKS DOWN FROM THE LITTLE STORE IN THE LOBBY IT WAS OUTRAGEOUS THEY CHARGED HER $29.00 FOR 4 SMALL BAGS OF 99CENT CHIPS 2 BEEF JERKYS AND 3 BOTTLES OF SODA WE HAVE TO RETURN TO THE AREA THE END OF APRIL AND YOU CAN BE SURE WE WILL BE STAYING ELSEWHERE Lisateave

This hotel was very nice to stay at but they failed to notify Expedia that they no longer serve a free breakfast buffet. Upon check-in I was told that the buffet has not been available for at least a year and the hotel restaurant prices were out of our budget so we had to find a place in the surrounding area for breakfast. The staff was very friendly. We were there to see Bruce Springsteen play in Hartford. The staff were friendly and helped us with info on where to go. I would recommend this hotel to others.

The staff was exceptional, rooms were clean and comfortable, and location was great! Even though the hotel is conveniently situated at the highway it was very quiet. The amenities for family and fitness were well maintained and easily accessible. Fresh baked cookies in the lobby are always a plus!

room ventilation system was very noisy and woke me up every time it came on. It was not clear that it was controlled by a thermostat on the wall, so I wasn't able to control the temperature in the room.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room was immaculate and the bed was soooooooo comfy. The convenience of being close to the highway is that there is traffic sound, but I only stayed one night and slept well, so it wasn't a major factor. I would stay at this hotel again if I needed to stay in the Windsor area again.

Breakfast included in my room rate was delicious and pleasantly prepared by server. Directional signage to the Lobby on driving in would have been helpful -- I arrived at night and drove all around property once to find the entrance.

My stay was excellent but the staff was exemplary in the conduct of their endeavors. The morning rush through the restaurant even found the G.M. bussing tables occasionally to be sure any guests coming in had a clean table to sit at when they arrived and there was no sign of a line at the desk checking in or checking out. This hotel is older and our room was not great. I didn't think this place should be called a "hotel". The hallways are dark. The carpet was coming up near the sink. And there was a poorly repaired hole in the wall. The pool was great. We pre-paid for breakfast, which was an added convenience, but the food was only so-so. Very limited choices on the […] menu. Nice place wish I had the time to enjoy the pool and hot tub. The breakfast choices where great and quick. The only pitfall was the bathroom was not completely cleaned and was missing a set of towels.

It is a very nice hotel for the business traveler. Their rooms are comfortable, nea and clean. The internet connection was a breeze and was quite stable - The checkin process and the staff in the hotel was very accomodating. They even have shuttle services though I didnt use it. They have a buffet breakfast - notthing fancy - enough to grab a few bites […] before heading for work. The fitness center is decent and has treadmill, ellipticals, bikes and free weights. The pool and whirlpool looked good though I didnt use it. The main lobby is under construction so the recpetion and market place is squeezed in a small room Lisateave

I was very happy with this hotel. We needed a hotel close to Hartford/Farmington with a pool. I booked three rooms and they were right next to each other, Room size was large. Pool was nice. I had an enjoyable stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and the hotel staff was very helpful. The receptionist gave me a print out of nearby restaurants, and we ended up at a great BBQ spot. I would recommend other to stay here.

stayed here this weekend after photographing a wedding in Hartford and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Nice touch that they had a mini mart with alcohol and snacks and water open 24 hours at the reception!

The staff at the Marriott were genuinely nice and extremely helpful. The hotel was close to major roads, but it is not within walking distance to restaurants or sights. They do, however, have an airport shuttle. I would definitely stay here again--it was a very pleasant stay.
