Spa options at the Royal Treatment Spa are tailored to fit most budgets and timetables. For a daily fee, you can take as little or as much time as you need in the sauna, steam room, and spa tub. WE LIVE IN LAS VEGAS AND WANTED TO SPEND A COUPLE NIGHTS AWAY FROM HOME. EVERYONE CHECKING IN WERE RECIEVING FREE BUFFETS..WHEN INQUIRING ABOUT THE FREE BUFFETS THE GIRL RESPONDED SHARPLY WITH "YOU NEEDED TO DO THAT WHEN YOU MADE YOUR RESERVATION"...THE YOUNG GIRL ACTED AS THOUGH WE WERE TOTALLY BOTHERING HER....I FINALLY SAID "I GUESS YOU PUNISH LOCALS"...THE […] ROOM WAS OK BUT THE VIEW WAS HORRENDOUS. "Excaliber Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas"
This is a very nice hotel--rooms were clean and comfortable--location is the big downfall if you are a sightseer. The other issues I had were the hours of room service only being 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. and NO coffee pot. If you are just there to gamble, this is a good place to stay--price is right. Won't be my next hotel choice.

Overall its not too bad. The only thing I don't like is the additional resort fee $14 per day, which was not disclosed until you paid and made the reservation via hotel.com.

In Las Vegas all you really need is a place to sleep. You'll spend more time on the strip hotel-jumping. At full fair I may consider newer (younger) alternatives, but the discount fares that include the free buffet are hard to beat. Older, but well kept, and fine for a few nights stay. Players club is M Card so you're prob already covered there.
hotel was fine. rooms clean and comfortable,. be careful with billing. for the second time they tried to overcharge me with misc charges. after close review, and complaining for 5 minutes, they removed. But unneccessary ending to your stay.

We stayed there for superbowl weekend! What a great experience. Room was clean, front desk was friendly and price was right! Love that it connects to Luxor, Mandalay Bay as well as NYNY. One morning had problem with shower backing up called front desk and in no time someone was there to repair and maid right behind to do clean up. What service! "Excalibur - Paper Thin Walls - Too loud for me"
Good and bad! The people and service were great. The location was perfect. The pool was fun for the kids and they liked the game room downstairs. However, the hotel room wasn't very clean and the noise factor was horrible. There were people yelling and screaming all night long (both nights) having party after party. One person pushed our door in and […] walked right in! She apologized, but giggled and laughed about it with her friends outside the door. It was raucous and obnoxious - impossible to sleep. Hotel was good to sleep in for the price clean room, No free amendaties, there is a fee per day for internet (No- wi-fi). The food buffet was not good the food was old and bland. It was nice to have it on site but the cost of the room does not cover the food you must pay more then it's worth per person or a slightly higher amount per person all day. "Excalibur hotel- Horrible experience!!!!"
The room was dirty. There were used shampoo bottles in the shower. The toilet did not work. I woke up with a bug bite. When I confronted the manager he acted like I am inconveniencing him, he was not helpfull at all. No apologies at all. I was really disappointed.

We had a great time. Dinner at the Camelot resturant was amazing the Filet melts in your mouth. The Bellboy service was awesome. The only complaint I have was having to wait when we pulled up to the Hotel for valet.
I made reservation for a one bed king size and they gave us a two queen size bed, the floor in the bathroom had some hair from the previous guess, the AC unit wasn't working correctly, including the electronic key ( we try several times before it opened), the bed sheet had some holes, and when I check out I paid an extra fee ( resort fee) which no one […] told us at the time when I placed the reservation or when we checked in, the clerk cross out the amount when we check in, so I assume that is was completely paid at the time of the reservation ( hidden fees) Lisateave

"The Ecalibur"
My second time at the Excalibur. First time was for a 311 concert. All the good restaurants close. It would be nice to have at least a buffet open 24 hours. Other than that. I had a wonderful stay.

I booke my room on hotels.com, was given a good rate. When I got to Vegas and checked in at Excaliber they gave me a "complimentary" breakfast voucher for 40 bucks to the buffet(which is disgusting btw). That night I looked at my bank acct online and saw numerous charges. One of which was the fee for the FREE buffet from excaliber hotel. What? Another […] was for a full nights charge. What is this? Upon checkout I disputed it. I got charged for the buffet then for a daily rate until checking out.. I PREPAID IN ADVANCE!!! I had 3 overdrafts. After 6 hrs of insufficient funds it was resolved. They gave me a free buffet for my troubles, WHICH WAS AGAIN CHARGED TO MY ACCT. DONT STAY AT THIS PLACE. ITS A JOKE... Lisateave

"Excalibur - Overall Good Hotel To Stay At"
The rooms are nice and big, but lacked a bar fridge and had shower only. They were nice and clean, and as non-smokers appreciated getting out of the smokey casino and into our hotel room. The hotel was REALLY smokey during the evenings, so we found we didn't gamble there at all at night. I'm pretty sure they could improve this somehow. The Grandview […] timeshare people really attack you when you're entering from any entrance of the casino.....gets annoying when the same lady asks you 5 times.... The location is good, and with it being attached to the Luxor and New York New York it made it easy to walk from one place to the next. Would definitely stay here again, but would hope they do something with the excessive amount of smoke.....more ventilation? Lisateave

"Casino Smoke"
I found the smoke contamination in the casino to be particularly bad in relation to others. It was obvious from the lingering clouds of cigarrette smoke that there was very little circulation in the casino. It got so bad that we were forced to leave and gamble in other casinos' where we found a considerable difference in air quality

We had a very good time at the Excalibur the room was clean and up on the 17th floor we had very good food at the Buffet we did all lunch and dinner a few days and we did eat all over the city family did stop by and picked us up we was all over the LV we walked in and out of Golden nugget and MGM and the luaus and we must have stop and walked in and […] out of Lot' s of Hotels all over the city was playing in some of the Casino and we did eat in some of them all the Hotel's have good and Bad point's so we love the Excalibur and will stay there any time and about the Show's we went two 3 of them had a very good time at them but after 4.5 Day had to come back to Tucson AZ we will stay at the Excalibur any time Lisateave

"Ants in Room! Overpriced Food!"
The night I checked in, I found an ant on bathroom counter. Removed it. Okay, not bad. The next morning I found more. This was not going to work so I called front desk. He apologized and said someone would be right up. After an hour, I had to leave, but I first took everything out of bathroom. Stopped at front desk. The manager was nice, apologized, […] and said she would move me to another room. When I got back that night, I was given a new room and had to move across casino to the other tower which was nicer. If I wanted help moving, make sure I had money to pay for it. The food cost was outrageous. Did not find a coffee shop. As part of the package, I got two free breakfast or lunch buffets. I have never seen $15.00 for a breakfast buffet. Dinner was $20.00 but nothing special so I went to Green Valley Ranch where I paid $15 with my Station Card for a really nice dinner buffet. The $12.50 daily resort fee is $14.00/day with tax. It does include wired internet in the room. Also included in the fee: You can work out in spa, but access to steam room, jacuzzi, and sauna is another $10.00/day. The newspaper (USA Today) is free if you go to Gift store and show it. All in all, I found the property to be reasonable for the hotel.com's price but with all the extras, I felt it was a ripoff. They overpriced everything else so unless you wanted to leave and go somewhere else, you had to pay up. I would not stay here again. Lisateave
"Excalibur - Las Vegas"
We love the Excalibur in that it is low key, always cheaper than surrounding hotels and offers everything that you need. My only complaint is that we were seated at the new Lynard Skynard restaraunt for lunch and the waitress didn't greet us for 10 minutes. There were only 5 tables full of people. We left and went somewhere else.

Hotel was okay. It was a good price for being right on the strip. It is one of the older hotels in comparison to Cosmopolitan, Aria, Vdarra, etc., so the price could have been a little lower considering. There was also a resort fee that was in the original booking, but that I didn't notice until we got there to check in. I think that should have been […] highlighted a bit more because it did come as a bit of a shock and considering Excalibur is not a resort, it seemed to me to be gouging. There was maid service every day, which wasn't exactly the greatest. One day we returned early to telenovellas being blasted on our TV (which was off when we left) and one of the drawers being wide open (and we left closed).
