It was a great weekend anniversary trip. No one was at the beach on the entire strip. We loved everything about this hotel and room. Will definitely be stay here again.

Stayed 3 days.. Room pretty clean, staff were very nice, close to most things you want to do/ see in VA Beach, lights on the roof that shine onto the beach are nice at night... Look forward to going back..

The view from our oceanfront balcony was spectacular. We had a great time celebrating my husband's bday. The only issue wih our stay is he concierge trying to sell us a timeshare. If you have been to VA Beach then you already know that you can't walk down the street without being bombarded by people trying to send you to a 90 minute presentation. We […] were a little shocked when the hotel concierge left a message on our hotel room phone about a package. When we went down tk get it she qas just luring us down to try to sell us a timeshare. They need to quit harrassing their customers. Thats our only comlaint. Lisateave

This was much more than I thought it would be. Great location, staff was excellent, all amenities a plus, room view was out of sight and room itself was much more than I thought it would be. Hat's off to a great hotel.

Great hotel, nice restaurant in the hotel. Only thing wrong with the room the air conditioner stopped working, and was getting hot. We were leaving the next day, so we lived with it. They sent someone up the next morning. Plan on going back here soon.

I chose this hotel because I have stayed here in the past (about 3 years ago). Unfortunately, it looks like it hasn't been updated since then. For the room, there were stains in the carpet as well as carpet coming up near the door. The walls have markings all over them from abuse. The room had an odor throughout but it was an odor that the room had […] not had air flow, this stayed the entire visit. I personally do not want housekeeping in my room. The first day, I received two calls to my room to check on whether or not I wanted services. I had placed the "Please do no disturb" sign on the door. On the third day, housekeeping apparently took it upon themselves to remove the sign and come into my room. While making the bed and replacing towels, my belongings were moved around. To me this is a intrusion on my privacy. Also on the third day, I received a message in the afternoon from the concierge informing me that the hotel had set up a package for me. This was on the late afternoon one day before my checkout. I would only recommend this hotel if you need somewhere to stay quickly. Lisateave

We love the hotel. Had a small misunderstanding about our stay, and one of the employees did NOT handle the situation in an appropriate manner. Very upset about that situation. Also, we did NOT like the whole parking situations at the businesses and restaurants. Paying $10 just to get a cup of dippin' dots!?! Rediculous. I booked this trip for me and my boyfriend for my birthday. The view was amazing (I had an oceanfront room). The staff was super friendly, answered any questions I had, and recommended a few attractions in the area. There was a restaurant in the hotel, but we decided to walk around and try some of the restaurants down the street. The pool was a little […] cold to be a heated pool, but the jacuzzi was fantastic after a long day of walking around taking in the sights. I would definitely return to this hotel on my next trip to the area, and recommend it to everyone! Lisateave

While the hallways and lobby looked dated and old, the bedroom was very clean and the beds comfortable. The location was perfect for us.

It was nice and would come again. Hotel was wonderful but the concierge did not contact us until we checked out after being there 3 nights, our room was great except the dust ruffle had some pretty nasty stains, spills or squits of something all over it and really needed to be washed, and our room was great...mattresses, bedding and pillows were fabulous. […] Only way to improve on the rooms comfort is to have Queen or king beds, BUT PLEASE USE THE SAME MATTRESSES AND PILLOWS. The woman who serviced our room was terrific!!!!! I forgot and did not tell her about the dust ruffle. It would be nice if there were microwaves and small refrigerators inall the rooms. We enjoyed our stay, but in the summer after being in the sun we need larger beds...But, I'd come back in the fall or winter months when the prices go down (off season). Lisateave

As this is off season, the area and hotel were quiet and not near full capacity. With that in mind, I could still hear people talking in the next room, not yelling. So I assume the walls are very thin. As this is older hotel, but good cosmetics, the AC/heater is not thermostatically controlled. As the temps were in the 20-30's the room was either too […] hot or too cold (had to repeatedly turn on or off the unit). There was a gap in the door to floor space, so stuffing that helped. They did not have extra blankets in the room, so I took the one from the other bed, which was fine. Knowing this, I would stay again for the price. I just adapt. And the bed was very comfortable. This was our first time at the Ramada and it was great. We are only 20 minutes from the beach but stay down there often. The staff was great, the room was very clean.

It's our second year going to visit Virginia beach and both times we've stayed at the Ramada...we enjoy the hot tub and the ocean view...if you're an early bird you might be lucky enough to see dolphins swimming through the ocean right out of your bedroom window. It's the perfect location, near two highways and not to mention of all the yummy restaurants. […] The only problem I had was with the wifi, it only worked the first night. Other than that we've no complaints...we were allowed to check in early, I guess because its off season, and checked out late which was great because we had a long drive ahead of us, so the extra time to rest was great. We plan on going back again next year and will most probably stay there again. Lisateave

With the Ramada name I expected a lot more. This must be their discount hotel on the oceanfront as no refridge or microwave was included. Who goes to a hotel and doesn't bring food back?? The pool is in a weird location where you have to go through the lobby to get to it. The temperature of the pool was cold. Hallways are about the same temp as outside […] so getting two little ones to the pool was hard. Overall disappointed and would not recommend. Lisateave

Hotel was dusty and dirty. Windows were dirty. Balcony was nice for view of beach and fresh air. Valet parking was free but felt compelled to tip every time. Hotel restaurant was great. Location was right in the middle of all the action.

The room itself was great with a beautiful ocean view. Staff was very helpful. Only negative was the size of the bathroom. It was very small. The vanity was made out of some sort of wood that was in need of a good cleaning and fresh stain. (the top of the vanity and sink were fine)

This was a great getaway for a wonderful price during the off-season. The hotel staff was very polite. I would definitely recommend this hotel (especially during the winter months) to friends!

Christmas Eve stay down on the beach here in Va. Beach. Always wanted this hotel for convenience and location and was not disappointed. When we first checked in, the guy at the front desk was very short with us; he had no cheery emotions to welcome you into the Ramada. We received our keys to the room and when we got there it was not what we had purchased at all. We bought a KING room on the ocean front and had received two double beds in an ocean front room. Of course, we went back […] down to the front desk and asked if there were any KING rooms available and he simply stated no. When I proceeded to tell him that is what I booked, he then made some adjustments and we received a KING room. I guess there really were some available. When he looked at my confirmation and his confirmation he stated that "oh, it does clearly state a king." I think employees should be more aware of different vendors of hotel rooms. I am glad it worked out in my favor and we had a great stay but if it hadnt, I wouldnt have been pleased because I played a certain about for the exact room I wanted. Not a bad place. I travel to Virginia Beach pretty often, and this is where I stay. They clean the rooms regularly. Every room has a balcony with some chairs and a view of the ocean. The price is right. There's a bar downstairs that is open late. The restaurant is overpriced but the food is good if you don't want to go out.

Hotel room was acceptable. The hallways and furniture were out dated but the beds were comfortable. The parking was very inconvenient, we had to park a block away from the hotel because there was no parking at the hotel. I do think the room was overpriced as compared to others hotels in the area which are nicer hotels.

I really like the hotel. I just didn't like the policy of first come first serve. Or that the check in time is 4pm. I also didn't like the fact they stated a $25.00 holding fee after my room was booked. So those things can improve. However, the room was really nice and the oceanview was perfect. Quick getaway to VaBeach. Friendly staff, comfortable beds and awesome dual head showers. Could use a little extra cleaning in commons areas and within bathrooms to get 5 0f 5 stars.
