Morgan Bay Beach Resort All Inclusive - Gros Islet

We stayed for Easter weekend and had a great time. There was lots to do and my two teen sons loved all the water sports. They skied,kayaked sailed and did many more wonderful things. The meals at the restaurants were delectable. The staff were always friendly and welcoming and trying to make every possible way to have us comfortable. my stay at the hotel was very satisfying,the setting and amenities were great.The best thing about morgan bay resort was the staff who were courteous friendly and very helpful.Special mention must be given to the Kid's Club,a great service to both parents and kids.

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at this resort. We had read some reviews about the food being so-so, but we loved every meal, and we were very impressed with the choices. A rather old property which is showing its age. Needs money spent on it to be more competitive with modern all-inclusive hotels. Staff quality varied enormously, from the very friendly and excellent to providing an acceptable level of service only begrudgingly, which suggests a management problem. Experienced some hygiene issues.

We stayed at BGBR for 8 days and we had the most fantastic holiday. Our room was situated on the beach front - highly recommendable.

The hotel is approximately 1 1/2 hours from the airport. We rented a car and drove the 2 lane winding highway ourselves. We enjoyed the flexibility of having our own car (we heard other guest saying it cost $30 to go to Rodney Bay - a 10 minute taxi ride away). There is no charge for parking your car at the resort which is a nice change from the U.S. […] We upgraded to a one bedroom suite since we were traveling with our 2 children. Upon checking in everyone was so nice. We booked dinner for 2 of the 4 nights we were there - later we found out we could have booked for the entire visit at that time. Our first problem arose when we got to our room and found we had only one tv, and it was in the bedroom. I called the front desk and was told we only got one tv and we could have it moved. My husband tried to move it to the living room but it didn't have the correct plug for that room. I would assume there would be tv's in both rooms, the point of having two rooms so the kids could watch what they wanted in the living room. Instead they ended up in the bedroom with us! Nice family time but not what we intended. The burn of this is on our way to dinner the first night we saw maintenance driving up to our building with 2 flatscreen and 2 tube tv's (we had a very small tube tv in our room). Later in our stay we talked to a family who received a brand new flatscreen in their room! The Palms buffet was scheduled for our first nights dinner (this was done by the staff on check in). The food was marginal and we are not picky eaters! The staff could not have been less attentive. After 45 minutes we never received our drink orders! The only morning we were going to eat breakfast at the Palms I waited 15 minutes without receiving my coffee order - I left and met my family at Bamboo. The staff at Bamboo were wonderful. I don't think it hurt that we left a tip ($10) after our first dinner there. Everytime we went to eat at Bamboo there was someone who remembered us and our service was Lisateave

This is the nicest almond bay out of them all. the location is ideal if you like to stay with in touristy areas, close to Rodney Bay and the Duty Free mall. the resort is clean and the staff are lovely. The food was also good and the Pier is a beautiful place to eat. You can hear the waves. Breakfast is the same most days and pretty standard. The […] beach front rooms are lovely, we stayed in the 700 block and the service is brilliant. The showers are nice too. Overall, a nice resort and would go back. Lisateave

I stayed at the Almond Morgan Bay with my boyfriend. The resort is nice, but definitely not the nicest I've stayed at. I wouldn't call this a four star resort. I would say this is about 3 stars. If you don't like to walk or stairs -- this is not the resort for you. There is a lot of walking and stairs and the rooms are spread out. The service is wonderful. […] The staff is absolutely lovely. We had a great time on our honeymoon! I will say that I'm glad we received a discount on the regular price, which would have been too much money. We got our money's worth - thanks to hotels.com! Most of those at the resort were from the UK or Canada - very few Americans. Most of the Americans stay at the Sandals. However, we met a couple that said […] the Sandals food make them sick - so I'm glad we weren't there! The resort was quiet, which we really enjoyed. It was a good mix of honeymooners, families, and older couples on vacation. The room was very nice and we had a view of the pier and the water. My only complaint is that the bed was uncomfortable - not unbearable but not something I looked forward too. The food was great! We were pleased to have so many choices. I did my best to sample all different types of food and a variety of beverages - wine, mojitos, daquiris, etc. - and was never disappointed. The cookout on Monday night was definitely our favorite - the ribs were AMAZING! We did two excursions and loved them both. The first was the Almond Day Sail - 8 hour day cruise to the volcano, botanical gardens, snorkeling, and other sites. The volcano and gardens weren't very exciting, but we loved being on the water all day and the snorkeling was VERY FUN! We also did a half day zipline/rainforest canopy ride. We took a tram through the rainforest - beautiful views from above! Then did 10 ziplines, which was very fun. Finally, rode the canopy ride back to the start of the park. This was at the Castries Water Reserve - highly recommend the tour. Lisateave

I stayed in St Lucia for 2 weeks and in this hotel for 4 days. I came to the island first to relax and second to have a good time. This hotel is very complete in terms of what it offers. Its located in the north of the island (which means a 2h taxi drive or 15min with helicopter). The allinclusive hotel has 4 restaurants which (even with european measures) […] are good. And it has a lot of sport equipment available e.g. windsurfing and hobbiecats. The hotel is like a upper social club, and its mainly families with old children and couples that come here. The service is good and you will not be disappointed. The only draw back I can find is that its quite large (in comparison with some smaller hotels) and has therefore a less personal touch. Lovely resort. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good food. Good drink. Booked the all day boat trip with Joy on the beach to see many of the sights. Enjoyed the beach BBQ's.The only complaints are that the nightly entertainment could be better and there wasn't a main buffet for dinner. Had to book one of 4 restaurants. Our room was spacious and clean […] with a great view of the ocean and the resort. Make sure to visit the bar and grill by the tennis courts for a late afternoon snack by the pool. The customer service is absolutely wonderful. All of our needs were addressed immediately and to our satisfaction. Hotel staff assisted us in many different ways to ensure that our stay was very enjoyable. Wow. We truly had a wonderful experience at Almond Morgan Bay. We were in St. Lucia for three weeks. I wanted to try an all inclusive, so we selected Almond for our last night on the island. I must say... we made an awesome choice!. There are several resturants available and all of them were nice and the food well prepared and good. The staff is very […] friendly and there were no wait times to receive drinks or any request. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. We received one of the newer rooms perched high on the hill. It had a fantastic balcony view and the decor is fabulous. We were surprised with a bottle of wine and a fruit tray. The walk to the rooms is a bit challenging from the dinning and pool areas. I would prefer a lower level pool view room next time. There will definitely be a next time...we were planning our next visit before we left! The Almond experience is definitely worth it! Quite a nice place, but the quality of service needs urgent attention....the food was not very nice,needs more variety ..buffet breakfast at the palms was good...thanks to the great personality of the chef....it would be nice to place complimentary bottled water in the fridge,as the rooms are so remote,its inconvenient to have to wait or travel back […] down to the restaurant to get it. Site paradisiaque,chambres confortables et personnel très gentil et disponibe. Je recommande cet hotel .Ce qui manque c'est un jacuzzi (fermé peut-être , lors de notre séjour?),et aussi un peu plus d'animation. La nourriture est correcte, nous avons fait tous les restaurants.

je ne sais même pas le nombre de piscine que cet hotel possede, pour la simple et bonne raison que le peux que j'ai pu voir était sale alors cela ne vous donne pas envie d'aller voir le reste. Les sols autour de la piscine est vraiment infecte, vous avez interêt de porter des chaussures si vous ne voulez pas attraper des microbes. Les transats sont […] sales vous avez peur de vous y installer, les housses des chaises des restaurants sont marron de saleté, alors la plage de l'hotel, c'est marron et boueux car il vide les eaux usées pas loin et l'odeur des égouts y est constante. dommage bel hotel, et personnelle triste. aller voir c'est impressionnant Lisateave

très bonne nourriture, mais la prestation payée n'a pas été fournie dès le départ. pas de twin beds.Suite à mon insistance , j'ai pu récupérer la chambre payée. Pas de discothèque dans l'hôtel le soir. Piscines sales.

Très bonne prestation d'ensemble. Personnel attentionné. Un point à déplorer : la propreté de l'eau des piscines le soir mais cela est plutôt du à une clientèle peu disciplinée. Attention à bien réserver sa table dans un restaurant de l'hotel le plus tôt possible dans la journée car ceux-ci se remplissent vite et sans réservation vous n'avez accès qu'au […] buffet. Très bel hôtel. Arrivée à cet endroit on a du mal à sortir, car il y tellement d'activité qu'on préfère reste dans l'enceinte de l'hôtel. Le personnel est très gentil et accueillant. C'est un exemple pour la caraïbes, car nous n'avons pas ça aux antilles française. Nous pensons y retourner très prochainement.

Das Hotel besteht aus vielen verschiedenen Wohneinheiten, welche am Hang über die Bucht verteilt sind. Der dazugehörige weisse Sandstrand wird nur von den Hotelgästen benutzt, obwohl er nicht Privatbesitz ist. Das mehr ist ohne Wellen mit glasklarem Wasser. Das Hotel bietet einiges an Aktivitäten gratis an (Aerobic, Volleyball, Fussball, Krickett, Kanu, […] Bananenboot fahren, Hobiecat, Surfen, Wasserski....). Zudem können auch Ausflüge über das Hotel gebucht werden. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel hat 4 verschiedenen Restaurant mit a la carte Service oder Buffet. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, vorallem der Fisch und Kreolische Küche. Abends gibt es Livemusik in der Sunsetbar. Die Sonnenuntergänge dort sind traumhaft. Direkt ausserhalb gibt es nichts (Bars, Läden, etc.). Man muss den lokalen Bus nehmen oder ein Taxi rufen. Lisateave

magique!!!! parfait, service impeccable l'expression "le client est roi" se verifie! on avait une chambre "standard" mais c'etait parfait alors comment sont les chambres superieures??? inimaginables!! l'accueil etait parfait, le personnel tres charmant le seul point negatif : une fois dans l'hotel on n'a plus envie de sortir pour visiter Sainte Lucie! […] tellement PARFAIT!
