Service was great I needed a room on the first floor and she had no problem changing it. I thought the room smelled of smoke so she came in and checked it was just the carpet cleaner. I booked this hotel based on the high satisfaction rating. Can't see why it has one. The back door to the hotel, which is supposed to be room key entry only, wouldn't latch allowing anyone to come in off the street. Despite sub zero temps they couldn't bother to turn on the heat in our room and it was like an icebox. We had to leave for an hour after […] checking in to allow the old, noisy heater warm our room instead of relaxing after a long drive. Floor wasn't vacuumed well either. Breakfast was disappointing, chose to eat at the McDonald's nearby instead. Hotel was under renovation which it badly needs at least. Next time in Helena I'll spend more on a better quality hotel. The hotel was very clean, but it was very worn and was a bit pricey for the age and condition of the facility. Pop machine was broken and was supposed to be fixed in a couple of hours but it wasn't fixed during our stay.

We have stayed her before and the experience is only just satisfactory. It is a good place to stay for a "one night" enroute stay. We are pleased that they are pet friendly and the location is convenient to the I 15. Thank you!

The hotel staff was extremely accommodating and helpful! It was hard to find the entrance. It was not well marked. It was conveniently located and easy to get around to various sights.

Beds and pillows were very comfortable, the best I've experienced on a hotel of this class. Continental Breakfast was pretty disappointing, not nearly as good as it was 6 months.

This place is in bad need of a sprucing up. The carpets are dirty throughout. The bedspreads and chair in the room were dirty. The mattresses are uncomfortable. Advice: Find a different place to stay.

Decent hotel, cheap and comfortable. Can't comment on the breakfast, it was gone by 9:30am when we woke up. The Eagles bar across the street was pretty fun. Bartender and patrons were a good time.

This hotel was OK. The entrance and reception area were small so it felt very crowded when checking in. It didn't look very attractive from the outside, alot of concrete in the building and the carpark. However the room was large and very comfortable with king size bed and a large sofa. Didn't much care for the young gossiping staff behind the reception […] while we were breakfasting. But overall if you needed somewhere to stay for a night in Helena this hotel would do. Lisateave

Hotel staff were great. Continental breakfast was good (kids really liked it). Pool was a little small but clean. Overall we had a great time there.

The beds were dreadful....VERY uncomfortable. Aside from that the staff was very wonderful from the front desk to the housekeeping. The rooms were clean and we enjoyed our stay.

The staff was very friendly and did not mind my energized 2 1/2 year old. They kept breakfast open a little later to accommodate us. The bathrooms were small and the rooms are dated, but I had no real complaints, we slept well.

The staff at the hotel bent over backward to please and if I made a couple of comments, they were taken care of in minutes. Never had that kind of service. Very friendly and efficient I would suggest that each room have two comfy chairs instead of one, so that those whao are guests fro three days can sit comfortably to read or watch TV. Having to lie […] on a bed isn't comfortable for long. The morning breakfast room worked great. Perhaps a different supplier of baked goods as the donuts and buns appeared very dry. In fairness to the hotel, I should have said something about lacking a chair. They would have brought me one, I am sure. Very friendly to Canadians Lisateave

The pool and hot tub were closed for the entire weekend we stayed there. The reason we brought the kids here instead of another motel was for the pool. We would have stayed at a less expensive motel (Super 8 was $10/night cheaper) if someone would have let us know the pool and hot tub was closed before we checked in. Had to have a least 24 hrs. notice […] to cancel in order to not be billed for the room. Someone should call you and let you know that the amenities advertised are not what you will have. The bed in the room sagged so bad my back hurt all the next day. Room was clean, people that worked there were great. The breakfast was so, so. All frozen food. Coffee was good and strong. They didnt have a problem with my rather large Black Lab. Bed was a problem.

The hotel could have been cleaner, for instance there was soap scum on the tub because it had not been scoured in some time. There was no laundry facilities. On the up side, it had a decent breakfast, nice pool area and is conveniently located. But there are multiple competitively priced hotels very close that I would stay at first from now on.

Awesome hotel and staff, The only reason I gave condition and maintenance a 4 is because the hot tub was out of service. Otherwise it was absolutely a perfect rating. I would highly recommend this hotel and am looking forward to our next stay.

We'd never been to Helena, MT before, and knew nothing of layout of the city, whereabouts of the hotel, restaurants, gas stations, or route of departure the next morning. Maids were were very cooperative to a few requests we made, and also very polite and even cheerful. Only one maid wasn't, an Asian woman who never cracked a smile, basically just ignored us. Continental breakfast was pretty good, the people responsible for the food kept a close watch, didn't let anything run out, did cleanup when needed. Only suggestion […] here, they need a sign for the waffle machine. It just had a few graphics on how to use it, not very clear. There was an older gentleman who had no clue and I ended up showing him how to use the waffle machine. Just a short paragraph on a stand-up plastic sign would be very helpful. Over all our stay there was excellent. We will be returning since we now have a new grandson living nearby, and WILL be staying at the Comfort Inn Helena. Lisateave

Het is een comfortabel, vrij nieuw hotel. De prijs-kwaliteitpverhouding is goed. Zoals veel Amerikaanse hotels ligt het aan de rand van de stad, direct bij de oprit van de 90. In de buurt is een grote shopping mall met diverse eetgelegenheden.

Goed hotel. Schoon, goed zwembad, omgeving is aardig. Stad zelf heeft veel last van de recente recessie. Merkwaardige "mede-gasten": voor het ontbijt verscheen een (dikke) dame in een roze baby-doll; er lag ook een man in een stoel zijn roes uit te slapen.
