COMFORTABLE STAY AND AFFORDABLE. EASY TO GET TO. GOOD STAFF EASY TO TALK TO. WOULD STAY AGAIN IF OUT THAT WAY.

The only bad thing was that I requested a room downstairs, close to the outside door. I have emphysema and walking up to the third floor was very very bad.

If you are looking for plush accommodations or expecting a sense of newness as you wall in the room, than this is not a good fit for you. But if you want crisp clean sheets and just the basics at a very affordable rate than you will be pleased.

This particular Econo Lodge was very conveniently located, just off I-70. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room itself had such a terrible smell that I began to openly retch upon opening the door. The floor was supposed to be non-smoking but reeked of cigarette smoke. No pets were allowed but we saw two guests openly walking three dogs. […] The bathtub had a black ring in it. The breakfast was slim pickings. I realize it was only a continental breakfast but there were bagels but no cream cheese, and cereal but no milk. The odor from the hotel in general was not conducive to eating anyway. We would never stay there again nor would we recommend that any of our friends or family stay there. The price was very low but I would rather pay a higher price and be able to tolerate the smell. The hotel is older or at least feels older. The mattress was a little hard. Overall, it is clean but dingy. Parking is on 1 side of the hotel, so you can't necessarily park by your room. Access to the rooms is all interior. Maids were vacuuming hallway by 9, so if you want to sleep in, that may be difficult.

Can't beat this for the price if all you need is a clean comfortable place to sleep. Has fridge and microwave. No hair dryer but you can borrow fr front desk. Had no problem with the parking. Friendly staff.

Need to be down graded to a half star.

Hotel was very satisfactory for the short time overnight stay. I especially like the convenience of the refrigerator/microwave/coffee pot in rooms not to mention the complimentary continental breakfast.

We were extremely pleased with this hotel in every aspect. It was conveniently located near the sights we had come to visit, the management was always cheerful and ready to assist in any way possible and the room was spotless. The price is right and worth every penny.

Alhrough the hotel was satisfactory we stayed in a non-smoking room. But smoke from smokers in the hallway was so very heavy it seapted into are room. Therefore I would not recommend this hotel because of the smoke.

Close to the freeway, clean, took care of our expressed needs like extra pillows. Great family restaurant across the street.

The Econo Lodge will do in a pinch and the prices are more than reasonable. It appeared to be a family owned business which makes it all the better. Other than its remote location, I didn't have any issues.

This hotel smelled terrible! The non-smoking areas still smelled like smoke. The sheets were clean as was the bathtub but I felt like there was a layer of grubbiness throughout. I would not stay here again and would pursue hotels one exit west of this one or toward Manhattan. There are decent 2-star hotels: this was NOT on of them. This is a 1-star […] place. Lisateave

This is an older motel in the area, but it is well maintained and the room was very clean. It is not as convenient to the fast food places, etc, but those places are only about a mile away on the interstate. A local breakfast/lunch favorite, Stacy's, is just across the street. Very low rate. Got in late at night and went straight to bed without inspecting the room. But woke up and realized sheets were disgusting and covered in stains which appeared to be blood. Hotel was in a good location right off of highway but I would never stay there again.

The staff was pleasant, the room was clean. The only thing that was bad was the parking lot.

Clean, quiet, and friendly. Easy location to find as well. Ive stayed here twice.

Out of date decor but comfortable bed and hotel. Great if you don't want to spend a lot of $ and don't need all the bells and whistles.

I had to stay in Junction City because I couldn't find a hotel room in Manhattan (Kansas). It turns out there was a home football game at Kansas State that weekend, which is why I had to stay 30 minutes Southwest of Manhattan. The place was run down and the parking lot was full of potholes. It wasn't in that great of a neighborhood. In terms of my room, […] the toilet wasn't sealed properly and leaked significantly onto the bathroom tile. This wasn't addressed during my stay and made going into the bathroom a little dangerous (for one, you didn't want to do so barefooted)! It's not a hotel I'd recommend staying in and was worse than the one I stayed in the previous week in Urbana, IL. (although they weren't part of the same hotel chain). Lisateave

They are working on it. Everything was freshly painted and new carpeting and the bathroom floor looked new, but I still found it kind of creepy. The room was small, but very clean. It was an overnight stay in a town where we had trouble finding a last minute room. Definetly not a destination Hotel.
