The sink was broken -- water turned off because it leaked. One of the lamps didn't work. Close to the interstate, ac worked well. Plenty of hot water.
"Switched rooms......"
We were switched to a "standard" room, no micro/fridge. At time of booking, there was 3 "superior" rooms left......I complained, and switched to last room, a handicapped room (that was fine), then had to request the micro/fridge which the owner, I guess, brought down. Over an hour getting checked in.....when checking out, the employee who made the error […] apologized, was nice...suggest guests check their rooms to see if what paid for Lisateave

"Sink Faucet Stopped Working"
Everything was fine except the sink faucet stopped working overnight for some reason. I did have water in the toilet and shower/bath so it was not so bad,
"noisy on interstate side"
I have stayed here before, and it is great for the price. Nothing fancy, but clean and feels safe. However, I discovered on this stay that you want to be on the side AWAY from the interstate. I was surprised how much louder the traffic was on the side nearest the road.

The bathroom had been recently updated with nice fixtures. The carpet and bed wery very old and work out.

It's nothing luxurious, just a decent place to lay your head for a night or two. The location is very convenient to shopping, eateries, and the highway.

"Bad hotel"
I have stayed at other Red Roof Inns that were just fine. Nothing fancy, but clean and all I needed for a quick overnight. This was not the case here. The hotel was under construction, the lock on our room didn't work properly, the internet was not working, and the door handle to the bathroom was about to fall off. In addition there was all kinds of […] construction dust undertneath the bed. Gross. I was too tired to complain and just wanted to sleep, but I would NOT stay here if I were you. Lisateave

I had to get hotels.com to involved just to get a basic service at the hotel. Thank you to hotels.com, but I wont stay at the Red Roof again.
"Good affordable place to stay"
Good location--away from downtown congestion, with enough dining variety within walking distance. Easy getting on and off the interstate. Would spend the few extra $$ next time for a premium (deluxe? whatever) reservation to get the in-room microwave & fridge. Will definitely go back

It was a nice quiet area and the new renovations to the rooms and the hotel were a nice addition.
"Smoking or Non?"
The room we visited had a NO SMOKING logo on the door as we requested, however, the room smelled very strongly of smoke and there were cigarette burns on the table and the sink area. It was clean otherwise, but please know you get what you pay for. It is an inexpensive hotel and looks like one.

My mom stayed here for 5 nights, she felt safe and enjoyed Cracker Barrel being so close by. Just a few things the lighting in the room was not very good and the coffee in the room was not great. Got what I paid for - a inexpensive place to sleep Room was clean but bed was lumpy and saggy. Also remote control on TV only partially worked.
The location was ideal to the restaurants in the area. The room was comfortable and peaceful.

Very nice staff, esay check in and out. Stayed in the deluxe room, very spacious and clean. Loved the pillows, extreemly comfy. Would recommend Red Roof Inn to anyone that wants a nice room at a great rate.

"Red Roof Inn - Not bad for a place to crash"
The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable for hotel beds. Bathroom was nothing special, pretty tiny but clean and gets the job done. The toilets don't flush very well but not a big deal. In a safe part of town, I didn't have to worry about getting mugged walking from my car to my room. "great stay for what it is"
just needed a place to stop in the middle of a 11 hour road trip. this hotel was a good room at a good price. wouldn't hesitate to stay there again for a snooze before hitting the road again.

My wife was very pleased with the updated sinks and mirror, and most of all how well lighted around the mirror was, she was able to put her makeup on, that always a problem in hotels, room was very clean i would stay their again

I needed a hotel for a couple hours to sleep and take a shower and this hotel was perfect. The second level in the second building was all new rooms and the area was surrounded with places to eat and I felt safe as a woman traveling alone. "cheap motel"
The motel was very cheap. The manager would try to walk in to room at 15 minutes to check out. Tried to say I would be right down but didn't hear me after I yelled thru the door. I had the safety latch on so she couldn't walk right in on me luckily since I was naked. It would have been nice if they called on the phone like most other motels do. I stayed over one night @ Red Roof Inn Nashville North while passing through on 1-65 South. The room was exceptionally clean, very comfortable and spacious. The location was extremely convienent to the interstate and easy to find (could visualize it from the interstate). The only qualm I have is in regards to my room placement; I am a single female […] traveling solo and when I called and asked for a room close to the front office, the hotel staff could not accomodate my request. I could have understood it if they were full or overbooked -- but from the looks of the parking lot, the hotel wasn't really busting at the seams with visitors. "Quiet and reasonably clean"
This hotel is just off I-65 a little north of Nashville. As a woman traveling alone on I-40, I choose to go out of my way to stay there. I was unable to find any motels near Nashville on my route that fit my budget and sounded ok to stay at. When I arrived, I was glad I had chosen to go out of my way. The room was mostly clean (edges of carpet needed to be vacuumed better), and the bathtub was clean enough to actually take a bath in. I had stayed in a Red Roof Inn a few years ago, and they were all about how it had been revamped. So I decided to try again. This hotel had that yucky mildewy smell...It was clearly an old motel. The TV had very limited channels, and the TV was old, with a compromised picture. You would think it was the early 80's... the parking lot. As a single woman […] I didn't feel safe. The Red Roof inn in Goodlettsville, Tn is a great value for the rate. When my husband and I walked in, after doing the paperwork at the front desk, with a helpful, friendly, english speaking clerk, we toted our bags upstairs to enter our room. We were met by the Maid who was working... she smiled at us and said our room was ready, and she had just re-checked […] it to make sure! The room was smaller, but very clean.. I could smell a light odor of bleach, from the recently cleaned and sterilized sink, and bathroom... I like that. We rented a room with a king sized bed , and there was a nice computer station with free wifi. There was also a fridge, Flat screen tv, coffee maker, blow dryer, iron and ironing board and micro. the room was in great shape and was not worn or old looking. This inn sits Right off the highway, there's a Cracker Barrel Restaurant very close,and also gas, more dining choices, etc. coffee and other bevs served at front desk, along with donuts/pastries in the AM Be sure to request rooms not facing the highway, as I had neard that the noise on that side may be disturbing. I would and WILL stay again... a great value for the price... it ain't fancy, but its a great, comfy and inexpensive stay over. Lisateave

The hotel staff was very nice. You can walk to about five different places to eat. It's not fancy. But I was just passing through. It was nice being able to just park by the room and walk across the lot to Cracker Barrel. Room was clean and bug free. I plan on staying there on the trip home. The workers at the front desk were not friendly or helpful at all. When we checked in, the person on call did not smile or made us feel welcome at all. When we wanted to check out, the person at the front desk made us wait over 5 minutes before they would help us. There wasn't anyone else waiting for help. "Not great"
Not a great place to stay...bed was uncomfortable and there are no hair dryers in the room. When we called the front desk to see if they had hair dryers, they said they had some at the front desk but had already handed them out to other guests. The hotels does have a Cracker Barrel and Waffle House close by which was nice. The Days Inn across the street […] had a pool and honestly would have been a better place to stay, I think. Lisateave
"OK but needs upgrade"
Great hotel for the price in a great location. We went to visit relatives for a family reunion and the area was close by. Nice to have Cracker Barrel next door, and the neighborhood feels very safe. The hotel needs upgrading, but in all fairness, we saw them replacing the carpet in the room 3 doors from ours, so maybe ours was due for replacing soon. […] We constantly had trouble with the keys not working and so did my sister in the room 2 doors down. That was inconvenient. But overall a good deal for the money. Lisateave
