The Palace is a great value for money hotel with excellent service, good rooms and great location. It was clean, tidy and in good shape.

When we booked our hotel, we weren't sure if this was a good area or not but we couldn't have picked a better hotel. The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, and it was closely located to many sights and train stations. The concierre booked us a dinner at an amazing restaurant and the Europa Center right behind the hotel had great shopping and places […] to eat. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here. Stayed 3 nights, our rooms were upgraded on arrival. Staff were very helpful and concierge made a restaurant reservation for me prior to our arrival. Breakfast buffet was fab, lots of choice & everything was so fresh. Pool is small but still very nice.

The hotel was really luxurious. Don't miss an evening in the lounge/bar. They have great music played by two guys on a piano and bass. The room was beyond our expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing!

I was very dissapointed, the internet conexion was paid for 5 days and it was very poor and the 2 last days of my stay it was out of service. I claim many times about the mini bar not working and they did not do anything to solve the problem. I think this hotel is not a 5 star hotel.

Restaurant service very unprofessional they not use expert employees but only student from I suppose hotel school however without supervision, they are like cickens without heads. Otherwise the Hotel is outstanding!

Fantastic hotel in fantastic location. Only complaint is that for the price of a room here I believe that WIFI should be complimentary throughout, instead of costing 20 euros per 24 hour period.

My husband and I are frequent travellers to the fantastic city of Berlin. We only ever book 5 star hotels when we are visiting and the Hotel Palace lives up to the star rating. The room we stayed in was on the 9th floor, very comfortable and clean. Only down side was that there was no full length mirror in the bedroom, only a mirror in the bathroom, […] and no bath only a shower. Apart from that, no complaints. The buffet breakfast was brilliant with a great variety to chose from, the cocktail bar in the lounge was excellent. Please note, 'happy hour' is 5 to 7pm with half price cocktails. Staff and service brilliant, couldn't do enough for you. And of course the location of the hotel is great, 10 minute walk from Zoologischer Bahnhof. Kurfurstdendam round the corner and straight across the road from the famous Berlin zoo. Would definitely stay here again. Lisateave

This hotel is in a great location. The staff is wonderful and always helpful. There are always cabs waiting outside the hotel and there is a metro station very close to the hotel as well. There are a lot of stores/restaurants right next to the hotel. The buffet breakfast is unbelievable! I would definitely stay here again!

The negative, the king bed was 2 twin beds pushed together. I would have preferred a queen bed. Overall, the bed was comfortable. The positive, the staff was efficient and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and well kept. As for location, 2 of my excursions met at the transit station that was a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The location of the hotel is great, close to Zoo 'S' station & 'U' station. Clean, and comfortable. Staff were great. A lot of varieties on breakfast. You have to pay a fixed amount for your Wi-fi usage over 24 hours no matter if you would use it or not which I dont feel comfortable with and find it a bit strange where 3 stars hotel offer it for free. Our room was upgraded upon arrival; it was large and comfortable. All the staff were responsive and courteous. The cheapest ethernet connection in the room, not included, cost 10 euros for one hour in each 24 hours.. While a continental breakfast is available in the lobby, the staff is unfamiliar with it. The front desk staff were excellent - always friendly. I attended a conference in Berlin and needed some assistance with materials for the conference. The staff were attentive and helpful both day and night. The hotel was excellent and the room was lovely.

I have stayed at the Hotel Palace many times and feel that it is exceptional value and quality. You might find a fancier place, but certainly not a better place at a great price. I'll certainly be back!

Breakfast is one of the best They upgrade you when they can And the concierge is one of the best i have met. 3 minuses - a. 9 euro a day for wifi b. had some bad service at the reception one time c. the spa doesnt have treatments every day but only 2-3 times a week

Great location and a well appointed hotel. The concierge was about the best I've worked with. He said he knew everything...and he did. The only caution I would give is that they advertise the spa is no charge. We were surprised to find out the sauna and steam area is 13 euros per day. The hotel staff were all very pleasant, welcoming and helpful. The standards of cleanliness were high and our room was comfortable and very good value. We travelled as a family (our daughter is five years old) and loved our stay. The Spa was brilliant after full days out in Berlin. We were supposed to fly into the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport, but due to construction delays, we flew into Tegel. From there, we took an express bus to the Zoo train station. With our heavy suitcases with rollers (a must), it was an easy 15-minute walk from the train station to the Palace. The sidewalk was smooth and very wide, so it was easy to […] get there (rain might be more difficult). Registration was easy. The hotel was modern, as was the room. The room was clean, modern, quiet, and very comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and modern. It was the breakfast buffet which was the highlight. We had a choice of reserving the room with or without the buffet breakfast, and based on reviews and convenience, reserving with the buffet was the way to go. The spacious dining room was served by many friendly personnel. The food selection was awesome----cheeses, meats, rolls, breads, jams, eggs, bacon, smoked fish, fruits, cereals, sausage, cold cuts---all of high quality, and plentiful. The Palace was only a couple of blocks from the Ka De We department store. The U and S stations were very close, and with day passes, was an easy way to travel to all locations of Berlin. The Palace was also located across the street from the Berlin Zoo and adjacent to the KuDamm shopping street. Bottom line, great quality, great breakfast, in a great location. Lisateave

This hotel was really nice. The room was modern, spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. Many restaurants within walking distance. Hop On and Off bus stop nearby. Zoo and Aquarium across the street. We enjoyed the indoor pool. WiFi was extra in the room but there was a desk top computer in the lobby that was […] free. Breakfast was an additional charge. Cab fare from the airport was 20 minutes. Make sure the cabbie turns on the meter and get a receipt. I attended a conference here for 3 days and stayed on for a short break. Everything was faultless. I didnthave teh slightest problem at all during the weeek. Good location, close to shops and main transport. Will stay here again no problem

I was one of the first guests in the refurbished section of the hotel. The room was great, the staff was great and proud of their hotel. The location of the hotel was top notch- being close to major transport stop. The only critique I have- and it is very minor- is that the lobby smells very heavily of smoke- which may turn off guests.

This hotel was one of the friendliest places I have stayed in during my years of travel. Close to the Zoo, close to the local rail system, which links to the major rail system. Wonderful atmosphere and very friendly staff! If you have a choice, this should be the one for Berlin.

Nice location in the hart of the western side, sound proof windows, clean, spa area also ok, excellent breakfast except coffee that was not strong enough, reseption staff served with a smile - nice! It was already 2nd time at the hotel and there will also be 3rd. Recommendable at least during fall, winter and early spring.

I stayed in this hotel for business and at Euro22 for the internet per day I will never stay here again unless this is fixed. For 22 you would expect it to be fast which it wasnt. Other than that the hotel was good except for the quilt which was too small for the bed and my heater did not work properly..
