We spent the day at Cedar Point for Halloweekends, and the park was open until Midnight, so we had a very late check in. There were 4 children and 2 adults in our room, and we were thrilled to find a hotel that could accomodate us all with 3 double beds. However...the room next door was throwing a VERY LOUD party, and using racist, disgusting language. […] We tried to turn on the TV, so the children could try to sleep, and we went downstairs to talk to the manager to see if we could switch rooms...which we were told NO. The party was going on in the room directly above the check in desk, so the manager was well aware of the situation. We ended up leaving the hotel at 4am because they would neither move us to another room, or ask the party room to quiet down. I would NOT recommend staying here...Very disappointed in the management! Close to Cedar Point, quiet, clean and priced right. what more can you ask for. I checked in about midnight and the desk attendant was very nice, on check out too. I just love a great customer service experience!!

We were very happy with the location for our trip. The pool was not open and had to go to the one across the very busy street. As to our rooms they were tidy but not clean dust, dirt and hair in bathrooms , and throughout the room. One thing I have to say is the staff was great very welcoming and helped with everything that was asked of them.

The rooms were dirty and smelled. The walls had stains on them and there were stains all in the hallway. The continental breakfast was a joke and you were better off going to by some breakfast of your own.

My daughter insisted in sleeping in our rental car, she wouldn't take her shoes off in the room. It was scary.

This is an OK hotel. It is at a reasonable distance from Cedar Point. I would suggest to stay most of your time at Cedar Point instead of this hotel. The room was clean, but the beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were pretty bad. Also, don't count on the free breakfast. It is just a couple of pastries, english muffins, juice, and coffee.

The room smelled like mildew when we entered. Also, the wash cloths became very dirty when we used them..as if they weren't very clean to begin with.

Reading reviews before we booked was very misleading, we found everything acceptable for a couple night stay to enjoy the amusement park. The continental breakfast was basic but enough to get u started for the day.

I would not recommend this room to anyone. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. The room was the dirtiest room I have ever seen. After looking at the room we did not stay. The whole property was completely filthy.

Room was very outdated, musty smelling, and when making the reservation I was told the room would have a pull out coach for one of my children to sleep on. This was not the case and we had to pay for a folding roll-away bed. If it was not 11pm when we checked in, I would have gone to a different hotel.

First room they gave us had somebody else in it, then they gave us a dirty room. My daughter left her retainer and they threw it away instead of contacting us. I will never stay in another Travelodge.

My stay was the first as a guest, but having worked nearby for over two and a half years, I've seen much that most visitors would be unaware of. The hotel is run seasonally, and remains shuttered until Cedar Point's season is underway, and closes near Labor Day. It shares a common owner with several other hotels, and rates as the low-cost overflow option […] among those. The hotel is sanitary, technically clean, but does have a worn look and feel. Some rooms may have been closed for an entire season before you open the door, which is partially why you may see cobwebs in light fixtures or "musty hotel" smell as I did. What you are trading here is price for "new" and "shine." The folks staying here seemed to be the crowd that either couldn't book anyplace else, or were working on a budget tight enough to require it. It is located very near ample shopping and eating choices, and right off of Route 2. Cedar Point is a short drive from it, although rush-hour traffic can delay you considerably. At need, I would stay here again, but not if any choice presented itself. Lisateave

The only thing I wasn't real happy about was the time they stopped serving breakfast. I paid for it within the price of my room but didn't get to enjoy it because they stopped serving by 9 am! When I am on vacation I like to take a little extra time and I know there were other guest who got up later than us.

I was disappointed that it didn't have a coffee maker and the TV was fuzzy. Had to mess with the cable on the back to make it clear. Otherwise, it was ok, I think it needs upgrades or needs to lower prices. Wasn't worth what I paid for one night.

Are stay at the Travel Lodge ( 4 days 3 nights) was nothing like what we expected from when we booked the hotel it had no refigerator, microwave , iron or HBO and the room service SUCKED !!! Thanks for ruining are vacation !!!

Just above a truck stop. No frills at all, but cheap. My room was clean, but the maid left my door open. Fortunately nothing missing. Pool was clean and opened till 11 pm. Close to restaurants, shopping and expressway. They were nice enough to let us check in early. All and all it worked for what we needed, a place to crash after a long day at cedar […] point. The hotel was very shabby and dirty. The stairwells and outside walkways looked like they hadn't seen a broom or soapy water for 20 years. The beds were from the 60's I think. Needless to say we booked the room for 2 nights, but left early the next morning! I had to take a sleeping pill just to get through the night, I was so creeped out!! The room was okay. Didn't know if they washed the top bed blanket or not. Also had to go up to the office two times to ask for extra pillows and blankets. And they did not wash the towels that were left on the floor as per the standard hotel rules. Comfort Inn and Hampton Inn are with in a quarter mile of this place. The room we were in wasn't the cleanest. There was hair on the wall in the bathroom and the conditioner was only half full. I didn't feel completely comfortable, although the staff was nice. I went to get breakfast at 8:20, but there was nothing left. A sign in the lobby said breakfast was until 9:00.

I'd heard mixed reviews of this hotel online. My wife and I were very happy with our room. The only thing we didn't think was up to par was the housekeeping(but we are both professional housekeepers). Overall, the staff was very friendly and our stay was enjoyable.
