Hotel and room were spotless. Room was newly renovated (we were told), and it looked perfect. Room service food was good, quality and temperature of food was good and it was relatively quick. The only negative was that I found the bed a bit soft for me, but that's just personal preference.

Great hotel in a great location. A new restaurant is being built.

Excellent location. Excellent reception staff. They always had time to give you directions and to book restaurants etc for you. Location is ideal. Close to shopping and McGill and Concordia Universities. Would return for another visit.

Nice hotel with large bedroom. Facilities in room were great. Restaurant closed while we were there, Very close to main shopping street but was surprised to see so many strip clubs when we walked out to find a restaurant on first night.

Stayed for three nights in early June with my wife for a 3 day weekend mini-vacation. It was our first time in Montreal and we had a great time. The hotel is in walking distance of many restaurants, pubs, and things to do. One morning we even climbed the to the top of the mountain via Rue Peel. The bathroom is huge and we took advantage of the jacuzzi […] tub. I've been in bigger rooms, but ours had everything. We even walked to old Montreal one afternoon....about 30 minute walk passing many shops, bars and old churches. The staff was very attentive, and the concierge was most helpful. Loews Vogue is a little pricier than other mid-town hotels.....and the $32 per night to park is a little steep....but all in all a good time was had. Lisateave

I will definitely be back to Loews in Montreal. The location is great - steps away from St. Catherine Street, and close enough to Old Montreal that you can walk. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The fitness centre is a on the small side, but has well-maintained equipment.

Montreal is frequently the host city for many international conferences and professional meetings. As a result, it can be difficult to find suitable accommodations. Although I am familiar with Loews properties, the name itself would not have suggested a Montreal property. The Loews Vogue Hotel turned out be be a real find. Front desk staff pleasant, […] very helpful. The accomodations were spacious, nicely appointed , and featured a marble bathroom which evoked memories of the old grand style hotels of Europe. The location just off Ave. Catherine placed it perfectly to the places I needed to go. Lisateave

The concierge was exceptionally helpful in suggesting and getting us reservations at several great Montreal restaurants. The hotel staff also did whatever they could to make sure that our stay was very postive.They were very friendlyl. I forgot my computer mouse at the hotel and they sent it to me. It was a nice place to stay and would like to stay […] there again sometime. Lisateave

This hotel was perfectly located in downtown Montreal, just a quick bike ride to the port and the old town and within walking distance of the Jazz Festival. There were a ton of shops and restaurants right by the hotel. The room was large and very nice and the service was terrific. The only complaint I had was that we had no idea that the valet parking […] of the car cost 32 dollars a night. We wish they had told us, but we dont know if there were other parking spots in the area that would be cheaper. Other than that, the hotel is perfect. Lisateave

We stayed at the LHV for five days during December 2009 -- basically, over the Christmas holiday. I've rated the hotel five stars not because it is the MOST luxurious hotel in the world -- it's not the Ritz Carlton or the Le Crystal -- but because for the level of hotel that it is, it is a truly exceptional find. The rooms are all classy, modern, elegant, […] and have a definite luxury feel: comfortable beds, well-stocked mini-fridge, large bathtub (with a little TV in the bathroom!), large TV in the main room. Service was also phenomenal -- eager and helpful, without being obnoxious at all. The hotel staff happily handled all our odd requests, from helping us get a great dinner reservation on Christmas Eve, to parking and retrieving our car about 9,000 times for our various trips around the city, to helping track down some good local Chinese delivery and even providing some nice plates & silverware to eat it from! They did it all with a smile. One slight drawback to the hotel was the location. I say it is a *slight* drawback because the actual neighborhood is great -- full of shopping, convenience stores, and local eateries. But it is not very near any of the main "tourist" things you'll probably want to see/do in Montreal. For us, getting anywhere was either a good 15 minute walk or a drive/metro trip. We were fine with that, but be warned that you probably won't be able to easily walk to everyplace in your "Best of Montreal" guidebook. The only other slight drawback was price. While the hotel itself had a very reasonable rate that time of year, the individual services -- minibar, room service, Internet access -- were not free and were in fact fairly pricey. That's fair enough and it wasn't out of line with the general quality of the hotel, but it was a little annoying to pay $15 for every 24 hours of Internet access. All these factors aside though, the LHV is a fabulous high-midrange hotel for anyone looking to spend some "luxury time" in a great city, but without Lisateave

Our room was a little shabby (peeling wall paper, watermark on ceiling, scuffed furniture), but roomy and comfortable, with nice amenities. Hotel service was very attentive. Very good room service dinner. Wonderful location (really nice department store across the street). A good alternative to the mini bar is a convenience store with great coffee and […] tea or one of the nearby cafes. All in all, not what one expects from a Loews. Lisateave

I lived like a princess for a day! And the staff was very helpful when I locked myself out of my car!
