Quality Inn On Historic Route 66 - Barstow

We stayed at this hotel on our way to the beach. Not expecting much from the reviews - we were pleasantly surprised. I requested ground level, non smoking, quiet room and that is exactly what we got. Not a Ritz but just fine for a quick overnight!

When the cable is being replaced or upgraded, it would make sense not to rent the room, KNOWING FULL WELL that the TV isn't going to work. That was not the case however. So when I asked what's up w the TV, I was told it would be working "maybe tomorrow"!! So I'll go elsewhere today and stay there MAYBE TOMORROW!

The hotel staff were so helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was great. It was an actual "sit-down" in the restaurant and have the wait staff serve you. The dressing area and the bathroom were very small.

Motorcycle friendly. Easy on/off the freeway and close to amenities

Just been touring California. This hotel was a really convenient place to stop. Great to explore nearby Calico ghost town and on way to red Rock Canyon. Nice clean little pool - perfect in the desert. Great breakfast included in accommodation. Really good value

Best hotell we have stayed in in US so far. With good breakfast and nice surrounding with a beatyful pool. And the service at the hotell was the best you can expect.

Convenient location. Room clean and tidy. Breakfast excellent. On the day we arrived the temperature was in the 90's, we had a swim before dinner but the water was very cold and the pool was dirty at the shallow end. However I did notice that the pool was being cleaned the following morning. I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed one night and the room was good value for the money. Clean, fairly comfortable and relatively quiet. Breakfast was miserable so we went to a nearby restaurant. The staff was very unhelpful from start to finish. Two different women we unhappy to have to interrupt personal cell phone calls in order to check us in and out. Also charged us twice […] for the room and we had to demand a refund which came 2 weeks later. Perhaps if they focused more on their jobs and not their telephones this would not happen. Lisateave

This motel was an excellent example of comfort and hospitality. The motel restaurant was also wonderful. It was clean, had a quality of wait staff, and excellent food. The whole one night stay was both a pleasure and a "please come back" experience.

Lidt over standardmotel med fri benyttelse af SPA, udendørs pool samt motionrum med en del maskiner. Spændende hotelgang med en masse fortællinger om Route 66, inkl jukebox fra 50'erne. Morgenmad af den bedre slags, men kan ikke kaldes kontinental. Værelser pæne og rene. Indskriveren spurgte uopfordret til evt medlemskab af AAA eller andet for "speciel […] price" Udøser lokalviden om området og anbefalede superhyggeligt steakhouse i nærheden (med savsmuld på gulvet og superlækker mad til ingen penge). et nydeligt hotel, bedre end forventet. vi havde ikke regnet med noget specielt her, barstow er en lille ørken by, midt i intet, og prisen taget i betragtning forventer man sig ikk det store. men hotellet er rigtig pænt og rent, med fin pool og hyggelige omgivelser. den tilhørende restaurant virker meget gennemsnitlig, og vi prøvede kun morgenmaden, […] som vi dog ikke ku klage over. alt i alt godt hotel til pengene. eneste minus er at det ligger i barstow (der sker intet) Lisateave
