I have always think of this hotel as not up to par with the once I used to stay, but I was surprised. It was very clean, the room was larger than I expected, the service was good. For the price the hotel is a good value. The handicap accessible room has a shower/tub with plenty of good grab bars and a chair to use. The room was clean - only problem was smell of cigarette smoke. Didn't realize we were on smoking floor. I was put into a smoking room even though didn't want to be. There were kids running up and down hallway until 3 am and the hotel employees did nothing about it even though I called them 3 times - they were very pleasant, though. It was fine for one night. The front desk girl was very friendly and helpful and the location was great - easy off the freeway and restaurants close by. The hotel itself is in bad need of attention. The hotel lacks maintenance shows sign of wear and tear and it is evident that the owner has not made improvements in the facility. Hotel was dirty. Carpet was worn & dirty. Elevators were old & dirty. One day we didn't receive any clean towels. When I called to ask about this the front desk said they were being washed. What hotel runs out if towels? Later that even, still not having received towels, I called to inquire about them. I was told if I wanted some I needed to come and […] get them from the front desk. This was my first and last time I will stay at LaQuinta. If this stay wasn't already prepaid through Hotels.com, I would have moved to a different hotel.
