It was a great place to stay. However use the address and a real map as we used google maps and it got us lost for about ten minutes then we just used a real map lol. Anyways the rooms are clean quite quite and close to the tram ( it's right out front )

Ok, I travel in Helsinki for years but forgot that this hotel is in the wrong part of town...but not all bad as I think previous reviews make out! The location is in a previous "dodgy "old part of town which could now be called loosely Bohemian.I arrived and was welocmed by very pleasant reception staff. My room was quite small even for a single, but […] clean enough...tiny bathroom. I had a front room where you can hear the trams runnig outside when the windows are open....not great for light sleepers...Breakfast was average but not the worst I have tasted. There are quite a few nice restaurants and bars around the area and much cheaper than the City centre. Recommend you walk down to catch the tube to town or take a tram....Enjoy a different view of the City! Good hotel for basic business travel or if you are on a budget......not sure I would bring my partner there for a romantic stay....better off in an expensive central location for that. Good value no complaints,....oh and the Irish bar in the hotel is the most expensive in the area! hahaha Lisateave

Its value for money. The tram stop is right opposite to the hotel which makes it convenient to get to the city centre. The staff was courteous and offered that I can check out late, at 6pm since I had an evening flight. The rooms and the hotel are old, but nothing wrong with them. The breakfast buffet had sufficient options.

Fairly small room with a single bed, but functional. Location is good with trams on the door step but trams are also noisy when you want your window open.

Expensive for the very poor services it offers. No coffee in the rum; you are advised to fetch coffee from the reception for a charge ofcourse. The hotel breakfast is quite plastic. We chose this hotel as it was uptown, 5 minutes walk from the big flea market (which is excellent) and also a short trip from the Ice Hall, where we were seeing a gig. It was clean and fine, a little basic, but did the job. It is also just 15 minutes on the tram from the centre of town. The tram leaves right outside the hotel, so its a good choice if […] you are on a budget. The restaurant is also fine, good range of food, perfectly edible. I was taken ill while I was there and the receptionist could not have been more helpful. I saw a doctor and had medication within an hour. Booked late and this was the only thing within an affordable range. There is a mixed bar district nearyby, thought there is a bit of a quite/slightly dodgy feel to the area, though some of the places seemed to have character. That said it is less than a few minutes by metro the centre. Rooms are basic and small, though clean. The location was fine, as was the quality of the room, however the cleaning was a bit hit-and-miss and the reception staff were cold and clinical. When I arrived I had to carry my own bags to my room and no one wished me a pleasant stay. On leaving, my exact conversation with the woman on the front desk was as follows: Me: 'Hello - I'd like to check […] out of room (number), please.' Her: "Mini bar?' Me: 'No, I didn't use that.' Her: 'Thank you.' (Pause) Me: 'Is that it, then?' Her: 'That's it.' We would stay again. Hotel staff were helpful, spoke English, and the hotel was located across the street from a tram which provided a short ride to city center, the wharf or wherever. Huone oli erittäin siisti vaikkei uusinta uutta hotelli edustakkaan. Aamiainen riittävä hotellin aamupuuron ystävälle. 8 ratikka pysähtyy hotellin eteen, liikkuminen Helsingin keskustaan yhden vaihdon päässä. Olin erittäin positiivisesti yllättynyt hotellin mukavuudesta

Asiallinen henkilökunta. Asuin seitsemmännessä kerroksessa jonne ei kuulunut liikentaan melu mutta aamulla ilmeisesti hotellin suuri pesukone antoi ääntä joka kuului huoneeseen .

Koska majoituimme tupakoivien huoneessa, huoneen yleisilme oli vanha ja hieman rempallaan. Uskon että hotellin uusittu osa on siistimpi. Aamiais sali oli siisti ja toimiva, ja aamiainen runsas ja monipuolinen.

Olimme kaverin kanssa ostos viikonloppua viettämässä. Hotelliin olimme todella tyytyväisiä. Hotelli sopivasti ratikkamatkan päässä keskustasta, joten hintataso oli sijaintiin nähden sopiva.

Melko mukava henkilökunta, osaava. Osasi heti antaa ohjeita kun kysyttiin. Siisti hotelli. Pehmoiset ja mukavat sängyt, siisti kylpyhuone. Hyvät ratikkayhteydet keskustaan ja messukeskukseen. Aamupalalla ei pekonia :(

Generelt var vi meget tilfredse. Det eneste minus var at receptionisten ikke mente at vi havde betalt for vores ophold! Vi havde jo heldigvis en kvittering (på dansk) fra hotels.com hvor der stod at alt var forudbetalt via kreditkort. Efter at vi viste hende den, var der ingen problemer. Sporvognen kører lige uden for hoveddøren og det var supernemt […] at komme ind til centrum. Vi hørte den næsten ikke og den kørte heller ikke senere end kl 0,30. Morgenmadsbuffeten var også rigtig god, der var noget for enhver smag. Lisateave

palvelu hotellissa oli erinomaista!! sen puolesta uudestaankin tulen käymään. ainoat miinuspuolet olivat ettei huoneessa ollut pientä jääkaappia eikä hotellin yhteydessä illallisravintolaa muuten jees :)

Helsinki ist nicht so gross, aber es gibt bessere oder ahnliche Hotels viel naher zum Zentrum und wenig Restaurants, Bars usw. in die Nahe hier.

Colazione ottima abbondante e di qualità Ben situato a dieci min dal centro con due linee […] di tram che transitano sotto l'albergo linee 3b e 3t che portano alla stazione centrale da dove poi si può andare ovunque e linea metro vicina a poco più di cinque minuti di cammino.Idela per correre data la vicinanza ad un parco stupendo ed il sottoscritto podista ne ha approfittato quoridianamente.
