The hotel is literally opposite the main train station and can also be accessed directly from the public car park underneath. The local complimentary ski shuttle bus stop is right outside the hotel's front door. And the main shopping district and old town are within 5 - 10 minute walking distance from the hotel. Despite its close proximity to the train […] station, the hotel was super quiet. The hotel had a boutique-cosy feel to it rather than the bulk standard hotel type. The decor was a beautiful mixture of tradtional opulence and modernism with a twist of retro. Facilities were modern (looked quite new) and very comfortable. Breakfast was inclusive and food was great. Drinks on the menu at the bar were also very reasonably priced. Wifi was free and accessible from the reception area as well as the room. The hotel was smoke free except for the designated smoking room on the ground floor, which was great for us as we do not smoke. Even the bar was smoke free so we ended up drinking at the hotel bar more than elsewhere as a lot of bars in town were full of smoke. Service was brilliant. The concierge were very attentive and full of smiles. They also arranged the ski/snowboard equipment hire representative to come to the hotel and pick us up in the morning to take us to the shop for fitting and drop us off back at the hotel. This whole process took about 40 mins door to door. And the staff at the ski shop were very helpful and nice. Also the equipment were of good quality with decent rental prices. The bar staff at the hotel were also very friendly and recognised us after our first visit, which made us feel very welcome. The restaurant staff were also very courteous and professional. The hotel had small personal touches here and there (which are becoming quite rare in hotels these days) that really made our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grand Hotel Europa so much that I couldn't stop telling my work colleagues and friends about it upon our return home. Lisateave

The location is good at the surrounding of the old city ,the room is up to date with all you need and very clean, the breakfast was very good very beutifull dinning room. room view-train station?!?,on top of a busy road beter stay with closed window.

A wonderful hotel, with very efficient and friendly staff - who actively offered us umbrella's on a wet afternoon! Lots of really nice little touches. Great breakfast selection in a very grand, portrait-festooned breakfast room. Excellent location - really close to the Bahnhof - perfect for travellers who are passing though on the rail system (but cannot […] hear the trains at all). Would recommend to anyone! Lisateave

We arrived, and got offered valet parking for the car. Reception was very efficient and friendly. We got to our room, and A/C was making gurgling noises! Mini-bar fridge didn't work, we asked to have it looked at, were told someone would come, but no one did. Area right outside the hotel is somewhat seedy, and I wouldn't want to hang around there too […] long... Individuals seemed to be up to no good in our opinion there. A short walk and you were right in the main plaza which was very pleasant. Reception will aslo call taxis to the front door. Went to a traditional Austrian show (Evening with the Gundolf Family), 10 min away from hotel by taxi! FANTASTIC. Good fun. Yodeling, dancing, music. . Did not do the show with meal as reviews weren't very positive about food there. Overall, nice enough hotel. Would recommend, but some maintenance issues. Lisateave

A wonderful place to stay. We were there for four nights and a little concerned when we first arrived -- it's adjacent to the Hauptbahnhof and on a major street. However, when we got to our room, which faced the train station and street, you would have never known -- it was so quiet. Room was wonderfully appointed, comfortable beds, spacious storage, […] tv, great bathroom with rainfall shower. Took us a little while to figure out the room lights (you need to insert your room key into a lighted slot near the door entrance to activate the power in the room -- pretty futuristic!). TV gets an excellent assortment of global channels, plus option to pipe audio into the bathroom (cool!) with the push of a button. Front desk service was wonderful, and very patient with our broken and limited German (they also speak fantastic English). Outstanding breakfasts, and great service. Best breakfast we had during our European trip, hands down. Restaurant for evening dinners is exquisite and one of the best dinners I've had in any destination. Superb service and sublime food (come on, homemade pralines from a humidor to complete the meal...life doesn't get any better!). Had some quirks with housekeeping -- never had two robes at the same time, and didn't get a new box of facial tissues, but very minor issues in an otherwise exceptional property. Can't wait to stay there again the next time we are in Innsbruck. Lisateave

I was really dissapointed with this hotel. The service was poor, hardly any staff the day we checked in, there was no real ameneties. The Hotels.com website and the hotels website said it had services that it didnt have. For example there was no valet parking - one member of staff said to me when I asked for it "what is valet parking?" I also enquired […] about Iron that was on request and they said they didn't have one but I could pay for a service to collect it for extra. Also I enquired about the Golf Course close by, which was very important to me and part of the reason I booked. The course is no where near the hotel it is miles away and not easy to get to. Service was not good enough for a 5 star, only the resturant and bar staff were good, all reception staff (except for one very young sweet boy who I believe was a trainee) were terrible. They were lazy and not visable, they didn't know where the nearest car hire company was and they held thier head in panic and had to look up the opening hours when we asked. Right outside the central station and one block to the old town. The hotel was a wonderfully located base for us to explore Innsbruck. The hotel itself was clean, furnished to a high standard and the staff were, without exception, friendly and helpful.

The Grand Hotel Europa is an excellent hotel (actually deserving the 5* rating), located directly across from the central train station. It is also only a pleasant 5 or 10 minute walk to the central shopping and tourist sites area. We had traveled about a week in Germany and Austria and were pleasantly surprised to find such a nice and convenient hotel […] for our stay in Innsbruck. The receptionist was especially friendly and helpful, as she provided excellent dinner recommendations for our family of 4 (that were more in-line with our budget than their own elegant restaurant). She also took us on a little tour of the hotel ballrooms and meeting rooms, since I had an interest for future events. The ballroom was extremely impressive, much like the palaces that we had toured!! The rooms were very modern, with more electronic buttons than you could ever need. The rooms were very clean and everything was in show-room condition. We had a nice little balcony overlooking the plaza to the train station. The buffet breakfast was EXCEPTIONAL, and the incidental service (coffee and drinks) was the best that we had anywhere (prompt and cheerful). We had a special package deal that included room and breakfast at a price that was considerably less than most 4* hotels we had stayed at earlier (in Salzburg). The breakfast was well worth it! You might choose to sit in the sunny part of the dining area (as we did), as it was also a bit more elegant and cheerful than the darker section. The short walk to the main shopping area was just two blocks away, and the center of the tourist section was just another two blocks.... a pleasant walk all the way. The parking was underground in a lot that seemed to be shared by the train station and other shops. The hotel parked the car for us, and we paid at the hotel before leaving (very convenient). The only (slight) negative was that the train station area was undergoing renovations, some roads were blocked, and there was some construction equipment Lisateave

We stayed at the Innsbruck Grand Europa Hotel for our wedding. We picked the location for the quality and style and we weren't disappointed, but especially we were impressed by the staff. They always went out of their way to help us and our guests and were always smiling and very friendly. We would definitely use this hotel if we are in Innsbruck again […] and we would recommend it to others. Lisateave

This hotel provided a very comfortable base for a short break (4 days) in Innsbruck. The room was quiet and comfortable, great bed, good lighting and comfortable desk. Bathroom offered high quality fittings and good water pressure. Other good features were aircon, high quality bed linen (towels were a bit tired), bathrobe, slippers. The breakfast buffet […] was fantastic and is open until 10.30: great if you want a bit of a lie in. The staff were really friendly and would make an effort to remember which guests took tea and which preferred coffee, or even green tea - a nice touch which was representative of the overall attitude of the hotel personnel, i.e. to make your stay a pleasant one. The only drawbacks were minor. The hotel is outside the charming old town area - though the old town and river are only 10 mins walk away, and it is conveniently located for the train station. There was no iron or trouser press in the room but when I requested one it was brought up to my room very promptly. The housekeeping was a little slow - one morning I left the hotel at 8am and returned at 1.30pm to find my room had not yet been serviced. This was again resolved very promptly when I asked reception. Overall a very pleasant stay. Lisateave

veraltet, hat keine 5 sterne verdient, wellness-bereich erst ab 16h zugänglich (ebenfalls sehr agbenutzt und schmuddelig), frühstücksbuffet konnte auch nicht überzeugen (packerlsäfte statt frisch gepresst, etc.), personal freundlich und bemüht, gute lage (gegenüber vom bahnhof)

Jeg tilbrakte en natt på Grand Hotel i forbindelse med et kort besøk i Innsbruck. Det var et svært fornøyelig opphold. Rommet var rent og flott. Frokosten var meget god med godt utvalg.

jag bad om en tjänst som dom skulle hjäpa mig med men dom sket i de sen de va nog förmycket begärt,låg på ett annat hotell 3 kvarter längre bort, de va som natt och dag

Laadukas hotelli, jossa kaikki toimii. Erinomainen aamiainen juhlavassa ruokasalissa. Suora kulkuyhteys parkkihalliin. Kannattaa pyytää parvekkeellinen huone.

The hotel is really well located by the main station and where the busses from/to the airport stop. And only 5 minutes work from Altstadt and shopping. The generel quality is a little brown but all in nice quality. They seem to be renovating. The service from the personel was above and beyond what was exspected. The do mention spa/relax on their website, […] but we never found it so don't cjose it for that. Fantastic breakfeast buffet! Lisateave

Vi havde et dejligt ophold på Hotel Europa på vej til Italien. Hotellet ligger meget centralt og har gode parkeringsforhold. Personalet var meget venlige og vi fik værelset før tid. Morgenmaden var rigtig lækker og dejligt imødekommende og serviceminded personale. Bestemt et besøg værd.

Bei Ankunft wurde unser Auto in der Bahnhofgarage geparkt (für uns warens16 Euro pro Tag), während wir unseren Zimmerschlüssel entgegennahmen. Unser Gepäck mussten wir selber hochnehmen. Der zuständige Mann war in diesem Moment nicht anwesend. Das Zimmer war sauber, 5* Utensilien wie Bademantel,..vorhanden.Ein leichter Rauchduft war feststellbar. (Nichtraucherzimmer […] bestellt) Gute Betten mit dreierlei Kopfkissentypen zur Auswahl. Unsere Aussicht direkt auf die Strasse und den Bahnhof. Lärmschutzfenster! Um im Hotel Abendessen zu gehen ist eine Vorreservierung des Tisches empfehlenswert. Unsere Nachbarn mussten eine Stunde warten bekamen allerdings auf Kosten des Hauses ein frei wählbares Getränk gratis und konnten in der Barlounge/Vorhalle Platz nehmen. Unsere Wartezeit war etwas kürzer. Das 7-Gang Menue war ausgezeichnet, die Bedienung im Europastüberl war kompetent, sehr aufmerksam,diskret und die Gänge wurden schnell serviert. Das Farbenspiel auf den Tellern war kreativ und schön anzuschauen.(Preis ca. 80 Euro) Der bestellte Tafelspitz meiner Begleiterin war wunderbar zart und der Teller mit zwei grossen Scheiben belegt. Dazu Beilage, Gemüse und eine seperate Sauce für weniger als 28 Euro. Das einzige was gestört hat war die etwas starke Lüftung. Mit einem Schal aber akzeptabel. Beim Frühstückbuffet war für jeden etwas dabei, heiss und kalt. Angefangen von den Eiergerichten, gebratener Speck und Würstchen, über Ceralien,grosse Fruchtauswahl- ganz -geschnitten oder als Salat, Croissants, Brot, Brötchen, div.Wurst- und Fischsorten, Käse, 8 Sorten Konfitüren, Nutella, Kuchen, Süssgebäcke usw. Es wurde bis zum Schluss immer wieder aufgefüllt. Auch freier Sekt/Champagner wurde im Eiswasser gekühlt, angeboten. Das Serviecepersonal sehr gut ausgebildet, die Abläufe gut durchdacht und speditiv. Wir genossen nach Rührei und Muesli, die lauwarmen Brötchen mit der wunderbaren Marillenkonfiture, als die Servicemitarbeiterin uns sehr nett darauf aufmerksam machte, dass da Lisateave

Nicely located - near the railway/buss station. Well run hotel, with a really lovely buffet breakfast. I can recommend most warmly.

ich habe bereits mehrmals in diesem hotel übernachtet und habe mich dabei wohl gefühlt. das personal ist meist freudnlich, die zimmer sind groß, gepfelgt und sehr sauber. das frühstück lässt kaum wünsche offen- besonder zu emfehlen ist die küche!

Jättefint hotell och kanonservice, värt sina 5 stjärnor! Fint nyrenoverat rum, allt fräscht och modernt. Bra läge! Käkade mat på restaurangen på kvällen, mycket mysigt och maten var fantastisk! Tyvärr så tog det väldigt lång tid att få maten vilket blir ett minus till restaurangen.

For a five star hotel I would have expected just a little bit more. However, the breakfast was fantastic!

インスブルックの迎賓館という名に恥じない素晴らしいホテルでした。 先ずスタッフの素晴らしさです。当地の情報だけでなくチロル地方全体の情報をよく知っておられ相談した件につきましては全て懇切丁寧に説明して下さいました。片言の英単語しか理解できない小生には何よりも強い見方でした。レストランの味も満足でした。特に海老のスープはとても美味でした。部屋の居住空間も勿論良かったです。チロル地方再訪の時は再度お世話になりたいホテルです。

Sehr schöne Zimmer, neues Design mit modernster Technik oder Tiroler Stil. Sehr gutes und freundliches Service. Gute Ausstattung. Super Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis. Schalldichte Fenster. Für Bahnreisende ideal gelegen, kurzer Fussmarsch in die wunderschöne Innenstadt. Wie alles in und um Innsbruck in kürzester zeit erreichbar.

Lätt det bästa alphotellet jag bott på, de har just nu renoverat hela hotellet, så på utsidan har det en gedigen och klassisk karatär men i hotellet andas det nu designhotel, ok kanske inte Grammacy Park Hotel, men ändå väldigt trivsamt. Maten är superb, vill tro att de har två michelinskärnor, är inte 100% säker, men gott är det, mycket hög klass. […] Servicen är ändå det bästa de har verkligen handplockat männskor som gillar att ge förstaklassig service, inga bittra människor mao. Frullen var lite väl basic, inget man kan klaga på men inget utöver det vanliga. Summa summarum, tummen upp! Lisateave
