Hotel Brunelleschi - Milano

The one significant shortcoming in an otherwise wonderful hotel is in their access to the internet. The hotel lobby is fine, with easy wi-fi access, but that access does not extend to the individual room, which require dial-up connections. If you own-d-as I do--a Mac, you cannot connect by dial up, and with other computers a dial-up is not convenient […] for the modern world. There is no excuse for the hotel's forcing me into the lobby to do important work. On the good side, the hotel is close to the Duomo and some good restaurants. Lisateave

For two days in Milan, we found the Hotel Brunelleschi perfect for us. The best thing about Hotel Brunelleschi is definitely it's location - just a few blocks from the must-see sights and shopping in Milan. The hotel itself is comfortable. Staff was helpful, courteous. Buffet breakfast was generous & good quality with excellent service, never felt rushed to leave. Drapes in room needed repair. We were on 6th floor facing street & it was quiet. Clean & professional. Provided cable for free internet for our computer & provided computer in lobby.

Great location for a night at La Scala, visiting the Duomo, and many museums. Staff was helpful in making restaurant recommendations, and the breakfast buffet included a wide range of cheeses, rolls, croissants, as well as eggs and cereal. A thoroughly enjoyable experience---we would happily stay there again.

Bring your wifi router! You get free wifi in the lobby and a free Ethernet port connection in your room. So bring your wifi router and plug it into your room. Breakfast included is modest but excellent. The freshly sqweezed orange juice (red) is excellent. You are 5 minutes walking from the hottest places in Milano (Duomo, tones of shops, etc).

great hotel close to the Duomo a 5 min walk. The staff helpful to get reservation in restaurant and tour, car to airport... Great large room with a spa bath, and great breakfeast 4 stars with freshly squeezed orange juice. The only down was no wifi in rooms so not great for the ipad etc.. ok if you have a computer and use a connector. would return

The immediate surrounding area isn't very lively but it's a 5-minute walk to the bustling Duomo & shopping area. The decor in the hotel is a bit 80s fabulous but everything was very clean and comfortable. Nice shower and bathtub. Nice bathrobes and slippers provided. First class hotel, breakfast was okay without being something to rave about. The location was perfect, about 200m from the Duomo. Valet parking went off without a hitch (not cheap) The room was perfect.

Nice Hotel in the older part of Milan and close to the main sites such as the Duomo and Galleria. All aspects of the Hotel were very good although we felt the front desk staff were brusque and arrogant and we felt like we were interrupting their day whenever we asked for assistance.

The hotel was close to the city central of Milano. The staff was very helpful and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The amenities was were great. We have a great stay at the hotel - by the way, the breakfast had a very good selection and was part of the hotel accommodations.

Excellent location - no more than 10 minutes walk to the duomo and La Scala. Very good self service breakfast. One evening we ate in the hotel restaurant - atmosphere not great but food very good (I recommend the stuffed courgette flowers). There is also a fabulous pizza restaurant opposite the hotel which doesn't look very appealing, which is a shame, […] because the pizza I had there is probably one of the best I've ever had. Hotel Brunelleschi is in a great area, just south of the Duomo and all the excellent shopping that Milan has to offer. the staff was nice, room was fairly high-tech, but lacked in-room WIFI. They did have data jack to plug in a laptop, but in order to use my IPAD I needed to utilize the wifi in the lobby.

While the hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Duomo, it is in a seedy business area that is creepy at night. There is a strip club directly across the street. When asked for a restaurant rec, they suggested a place 20 minutes away that was 100% tourist (mostly from our hotel, as I realized when I saw everyone again the next morning at breakfast). I have stayed in the Hotel Brunelleschi before and always go back as it is so convenient in terms of location (5 minutes from Piazza Duomo). It is always comfortable with good service and I think it has even had a refurbishment since I was last there. Would go back again

Great location and a great breakfast by European/Italian standards. The standard room was tight for two people with luggage and if you prefer an upgraded bathroom. The difference between standard rate and superior was minimal compared to the added comfort. All in all, I would recommend it!
