It was more like a low income housing apartment building (except at sixty bucks per night, it's hardly low income), than it is a hotel. Requested 2 queen beds and sofa.....was given 1 king and sofa....room NOT clean....reception arranged another room, arrived and something had been thrown through window, broken glass all over the floor, reception arranged a 3rd room......upon arrival the suite door was open. 1 arm chair, 3 beds, no sofa.....this facility is an old apartment building […] complex, being converted to hotel. I read someone's review that it was ok for a few hours sleep before getting on the plane in Seattle - This is not true!! It was terrible. the beds/bedding were dirty - we found other people's hair in the bed before we even got in the bed. I made the mistake of taking off my shoes (sandals - so I had no socks on) - the carpet just "feels" dirty. An older facility that is trying to stay up-to-date; garish colors in the hallways and stairwell rugs. Spacious rooms with kitchenette is surprising.Comfortable bed, so-so breakfast included. Yeah, I'd probably stay here again, the rate was good. No restaurant on site but walkable to another.

The first room they gave us hadn't been cleaned yet. I mean it was trashed! The second room was cleaner but the bed was sunken in in the middle and there was mold in the bathroom. The continental breakfast consists of waffles, toast and warm orange juice. No juice, broken waffle maker. Only dry cereal and coffee. Excellent price. And if you have a rental car from airport, the location can't be beat - just a block away from the new rental facility. The rooms have seen considerable use, and are need of an upgrade.

I booked this room because it was close to the rental car outlet. But, what a mistake! It was old and whoever owns it tried to do the work himself and didn't know what to do. Rooms eds were very firm, my wife and child did not sleep well on them. Hotel staff were friendly, but were hard to reach. One did not seem to understahd English well. I have stayed in much worse.

What a sweet and wonderful staff. LOVED the Make your own waffles at complimentary breakfast. I wish the kitchen had dish soap, but other than that the room was clean and comfy. It was nice to have a kitchen to fry up that fresh Pike Place salmon! And the fridge and microwave were wonderful for leftovers.

The room felt dirty overall. The toilet seat, for example, was not a smooth surface so there was ingrained dirt in the surface of the seat. I have stayed in a number of extended stay type residences and this is by far the most stripped down to the point of barely qualifying. The kitchenette is stocked about as good as a19 year old college kid would stock theirs, the paint was chipping and pans didn't have lids. Had to walk to another building to find the ice machine. The one ice machine was not working. Had a nice kitchen, but should have had a roll of paper towels. We were surprised there was no clock in the room. It was vry nice to have a shuttle to take us to the airport.

This hotel was not the newest hotel, and needed some TLC but the room itself was clean , and the price was very good,so if you don't have money to splurge on and nicer hotel , this one will work just fine.

This is Seattle's version of "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel". It is ran by very nice persons from India with no real concept of how a hotel should be ran. There was no pots, pans or cooking utensils in the room. No dish rags or dish towels. No dish soap. When we asked about the dish soap they said they don't provide that. It was horrible. The hotel outside was in poor, rundown shape. Inside, stunk, carpets were dirty, as were walls. They put us in a 2 double beds room even though we reserved a king. This room stunk and was in HORRIBLE condition. We then complained and were moved. The next room didn't smell as much, but the room was still in bad shape. It looked like […] an old apartment converted to a hotel room. The bathroom tub had caulking ran all around it (I will post these pictures when I get them off my other camera), the door didn't have emergency exit info or anything like that on it. There was no pen, paper to be found. The kitchen has stains all over the wall, there was nothing in the Kitchenette besides 2 seatings of plates, no baking sheets (one drip pan with an old tin foil sheet was all we had to use). No cooking utensils either, dishsoap or rags- we assumed they'd then take care of the dishes, but we were left without soap, and with dirty dishes in the room our whole stay. The freezer had an icecube tray which was burried in 6 inches of freezer ice that ran along the whole bottom of the freezer. The internet was horrible, we couldn't use our cell-phones to call, text, or surf the web, so we were literally without communication while their internet was down. We didn't go near their free breakfast as we were VERY concerned about health/sanitary here. We spent every single minute that we had to be in the room on the bed - didn't touch or use anything else in the hotel. Lisateave

This hotel is old and run down. Although there were clean sheets and there was hot water, the shower controller did not work well. The furniture is old and the carpet is almost threadbare. Most of the staff were pretty accomodaing although I had to wonder on my room placement which was finally decided upon by the shuttle bus driver assisting the desk […] manager. The signage to the second building would have you believe that you need to walk around the building where there is no entrance at all. The neighborhhod is almost all parking lots for the airport. Close is a Subway and Indian restaurant. A half mile up the hill is a 24 hour safeway which is handy but you need a safeway card to get all their discounted prices. This is not unusual but it would be helpful if the staff made you aware of this and had a number to give you. Lisateave

This motel was extremely run down and not very clean. Several of the staff members were very nice and accommodating while a select few seemed put out by guest requests or needs. I never could find the complimentary breakfast.

The hotel is situated on a hill. Even parking is on a slope; very inconvienent. Must be Indian owned, lots people (from front desk clerk to the maid) wearing Indian outfits running around. The small (19”ish) tube TV is situated on the side of the bed, so you have to turn your neck to 90-degree right to watch TV. After attempting to check in once and the room was still occupied, we returned. The check in process took about 1/2 hour because the front desk attendants could not find our paperwork. Upon entering (through a door with a broken security lock) we were greeted by an overwhelming smell of rotten fruit. As we entered the room (which one front desk attendant […] had went to double check that it had been cleaned), we noticed a disgusting toothbrush left in the bathroom. Then turning down the sheets, realized there was food on the sheets and they had not been changed. We promptly began to look for other hotel options. We called the front desk to request new sheets and also to ask about the bathtub drain which did not work. We were told that they would be right up. After almost two hours and 3 phone calls, we went down to the front desk. Where instead of one attendant working (which was supposedly the reason for the delay), there were three. In regards to our sheets, he said...it's only food. Do you still need clean ones? Um....yes. Clearly they haven't been changed so what is on there that we CAN'T see? And when we looked out the peephole of the door because we thought we heard knocking, we were a bit disturbed to see what appeared to be blood splatter smeared across. Overall, it was NOT good. It was a decent room. The steep hills in the parking lot and flights of stairs were a pain for me as a young guy, but it was well worth the price and a very spacious room for the cost. I would stay there again.

My experience with the stay at Sutton was great i would recommend this to people that are budget minded , cleanliness and up keep was good always had my room cleaned and refreshed towels, overall it was always cleaned and maid service was excellent because they will clean upon request no matter what time of day or night, but they do have a regular time […] to clean...overall service was excellent!!!I would return for another week stay when I do return to Washington. The only downfall was the parking, but of course eventually the staff are willing to help you out to find parking spots. Lisateave
