Bellagio - Las Vegas

Tried four hotels in eight days. This was the worst. Unless you get this hotel cheap, do not stay here. The hotel rooms have very poor sound proofing between them and very poor sound proofing between the corridors. You can hear everything going on in the bathroom next door and hear clear conversations through the door in the corridor, especially in […] the early hours of the morning when you are trying to sleep. Booked the Bellagio because of the old school reputation – but the hotel simply cannot keep up with its sister hotels or the competitors. The bathroom toilet bubbled throughout the night and the bathroom sink back flowed continuously. The hotel staff were not bothered at all by this and simply said they would look in to it. Although the rooms are more like a four star standard, the casino and lobby are nicely decorated. Best to stay in another hotel and visit the Bellagio lobby and casino for a few hours. Rooms are a complete fail and should be classed as a four star compared to what is available elsewhere. Lisateave

On the day of the check-in, because our flight was late by 50mins, the non-smoking room was given away and we got a room in the smoking floor. This was an inconvenience. But on mentioning this the next day, they graciously gave a replacement room the next day and with a fantastic view. Apart from that minor set back the rest of the stay was simply brilliant […] and well worth the cost.. Like the title of this review - The room had a gr8 view and the service was simply gr8.. Just try not to give away the booked room if the customer is an hour late! hence the 4/5 overall rating.. Lisateave

2nd time to Vegas. 1st time @ the Bellagio. Great time. The Prime Steakhouse is grand. Sit out on the outdoor patio around 5PM when it's not too busy. Best seat in Vegas as you can watch the fountain shows and the little ducks can nibble on your toes. Try the steak, tuna tartare, or the beef short rib. It was really good. The Bellagio Cafe (open late) […] has great burgers and parmesan fries, I was very impressed with the cafe food. Now, the bad, my shower kept leaking water all over the bathroom floor and I wish that the huge bathroom would have contained a jacuzzi. Thats it. Otherwise, all is good. Thanks! Lisateave

It was okay, there was no WOW factor that put it over the top. I did like the fact that when i arrived at 10:00 am that they were able to provide me with a rooom, However when I went up to my room the cleaning staff were still in the room. Friends of ours across the hall were given a room that was cleaned and staff were not in the room, Clearly better […] communication needs to be made in this regard. I did find the hallways dark and not open and bright. Our view in the room was looking at the bricks of the next building, reallly poor selection provided on the 6th floor.I would NOT go back to the Bellagio. When I compare it to the Wynn where I stayed on my previous visit, for the same price, we had a better room, more space we were higher up (60th floor - panoramic windows) and better amenities. There is no comparision, the Wynn is better hands down. Lisateave

it was a fantastic place, good ambiance, got 2 adjoining basic rooms (had a connecting door -- nice bonus). They were clean, not worn out, overlooked the pools, so another bonus. Everything in the rooms was comfortable and in good shape (one bathroom boor was missing the locking mechanism). The pool area was fantastic for relaxing -- multiple pools […] in a villa setting...and there were several large hot tubs too. The buffet was decent -- nothing great nor bad, room service was fine, and the restaurants excellent (went to Olives for drinks and later dined on the patio overlooking the fountains one evening). At check out, the staff allowed us to technically check out so we could use our unused food credits at the buffet (kind of them). The only issue in this overall good experience was check in -- I had paid for 2 rooms, had a hotels com print out with the confirmation number, etc. gave her my ID and my brother-in-law's too....then the desk person told me I only had 1 room in my name, there was a lot of confusion and time wasted, before it was resolved (I paid for both rooms, and listed my brother in law as the occupant of the 2nd). She had a weird communication style-- saying the same thing again and again (chalk it up to inexperience?) which led to all-around confusion. Anyways, after that, everything was A-OK! Lisateave

The price for resort fee was ridiculous. It took me a while to find the elevator after we checked in. I have been at a better hotel in Las Vegas than Bellagio.

The Bellagio is a true five star hotel at an excellent price. The hotel is beautiul and well maintained in the center of the strip. The only negative comment I would make is that the there are a large number of people in the hotel public areas during the afternoon and evening hours. It is kind of overwelming. We have stayed at the Bellagio many times and it just keeps getting better. Stayed in the Spa Tower for the first time and I think it was the best stay yet. The rooms have been fully remodelled and the decor is gorgeous without being over the top. Cleanliness is 5 star and the staff couldn't be more helpful. All what i wanted in a hotel. Compared to other hotels in US this one really impressed me. Maybe because vegas hotel are different, but clean, good service, the fountain view, and what i really likes its location. In the middle of the strip. But i still need to try other vegas hotels. We were accommodated in a room in the old part of the hotel, quite far from the foyer/reception and you had to walk through casino. Hotel very busy so quite congested expect queues both at reception, concierge and some food outlets. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Hotel's atmosphere great a lot to see. Good for families. Walkways to restaurants/shops […] is through casino. Food good plenty of variety, recommend chocolate shop. Our room was clean and tidy but our shower door not fitted correctly had quite a bit of water on the floor. Pool area was fantastic. Enjoyed our stay. Lisateave

Beautiful hotel located in a superb area on the las Vegas strip. Close to many of the other big name casino hotels which makes exploration by foot very easy. Also has a great range of restaurants plus a very nice pastiesserie. Rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious

Excellent - professional and efficient. Wi-Fi extremely poor, at best only one to two bars and sometime none at all. Check in needs to improve, unable to get into room until after 4:00 PM.

The Bellegio did not stand up to the high expectations I had. It is a lovely, well managed hotel in an off-putting way. My stay at The Paris was more enjoyable for a lot less money.

The Bellagio is a first class hotel. Even if all things were equal to another hotel, the service is 5 star. And, get this - valet parking is FRE for guests!!!! That alone should tell you something...

First of all, this hotel is just gorgeous. Every detail complements its italian theme. Room service came several times throughout the day. At the end of the night, they left chocolate on our night stand. We got the view of the pool. it was very beautiful. The bedding is extremely comfortable. You have several choices to dine. We highly recommend Cafe […] Gellato for breakfast, tea time or for the gelato. It is amazing! We dine at Circo. Food, Service , and the view of the fountains were excellent. Food portions were generous. Bellagio' s pool is probably the best in Las Vegas. The pool has a purified cold water dispenser with cups for all guests. Believe me, you want to stay hidrated in Vegas. There are several stores on the first level for anything that you forgot to bring from home. This hotel is not the cheapest on town, but it is worth every dollar. We will come back again and again. My stay at hotel was good can't say anything bad about employees or service. The guest that tend to stay there are on the snot-tie side and the stares made my wife feel uncomfortable (if you can be ok with that without returning the favor go for it). The restaurants have great food they are on the expensive side though but well worth it, great buffet. […] If you like Sushi try the "Lobster Ceviche Sushi" deeelicious! Personally I would stay their again but the wife would prefer not to. We did have fun overall it is Vegas afterall? Lisateave

Awesome location as it is located at the center of the strip. Beds in the rooms are comfortable, but cleanliness needs to be improved as I found stain on the white bed sheet and dust on air vent, which is pretty disgusting when you saw these. Renovation is recommended as you can easily find aging of the hotel room.

We stayed here during the Memorial Day weekend and there was an extremely long wait to check in and to check out. The hotel though it was a great idea to operate only 6 windows this busy weekend. There were other windows available but the hotel did not think to staff them. Our room was not ready although we checked in after the advertised check-in time […] of 3PM. The front desk lady assured us they would send us a text message when our room was ready. So we went to the Pool Café to kill some time and grab a bite to eat. The waiter there was also rude and rarely checked on the guests. The table next to us kept yelling at the gentleman to get service. We waited an hour and a half and still no text. So we had to wait in the long lines at the front desk, again. Finally was our turn and I explained to the lady that we had fight tickets for that night and needed a room so we could change. We finally got a room about 4:30 PM. We got to the room and it look like a room from the 70’s, green walls with wood finish. The TV functioned part of the time. The rest of our stay was better. We were a little late for the fight (UFC 160) but we made it. Played at the Bellagio Casino and had a late night snack at Café Bellagio. We checked out the next day. We will never stay at the Bellagio again. For the same amount of money we will stay at the Wynn or the Cosmopolitan which have better service. Lisateave

My girlfriends and I took a nice weekend away. The pool is great (though drinks are pricey), and the pool attendants are very good about helping you find a spot to layout. The pool cafe has great salads - and even ordering off the poolside menu was nice. The location can't be beat and it hugely convenient. Turn down service every night, clean rooms […] and comfy beds.
