At X-Scream, a giant teeter-totter rolls you and other riders back and forth with harrowing views of the streets 900 feet below. "Not pleased"
I recently stayed at the stratosphere and to start Off the room I booked online wasnt the room I received. I paid for a 2 Bed Smoking room with a strip view and I received a one bed in none smoking. And there were stains on the walls and pillows. The view was towards a bad neighborhood which was an unpleasant view and in the process we noticed a fire […] happen. The shower didn't feel comfortable and I was overall dissappointed with my stay. Lisateave

"Great hotel, fee for wifi use per device"
This was a good hotel and has a lot of amenities in it. I asked for a non smoking room but my room had a strong smoke odor. They charge almost 11 dollars for Wi-Fi per device. So if you are using Wi-Fi on your phone and laptop, you are looking at upwards of $20. In this day and age, WIFI should be free. I would still stay there though. Good experience […] overall Lisateave
"Nice Hotel, Bad Location"
The Stratosphere was nice. The staff wasn't overly friendly, but they were more curtious than some at the other resorts on the strip. It is not close to ANYTHING but the bus stop. So, if you're looking to play on The Strip, I recommend staying somewhere closer to the middle, it's a very long walk, or a long bus ride to the action. The only problem we […] had at the hotel, was the hot water situation in our room. It would start off nice and warm, and then turn freezing cold for the rest of the shower, just to turn back warm again. Didn't seem like any manner of turning it off and on and adjusting the knob did any good. Just had to wait it out. Unfortunantly for me, I had just put shampoo in the hair. Big inconvenience. "Good choice for a quick trip"
We came for a concert and decided to stay here for the weekend. It was nice and clean and we took advantage of our passes to go up to the top of the tower. Enjoyed the bar upstairs and then Roxy's for dinner. We tried to use the printer at the hotel and had to spend about $20 bucks for a few minutes worth of internet service because the computer would […] not cooperate with the printer. I would have utilized the WiFi but it was around $12 per day. Not cool. Last but not least, there is the matter of counter space in the bathroom. There is none! All in all, it was a nice, clean hotel and I would recommend it to anyone. Lisateave
"Cracker jacks room"
Since the hotel was sold out, we ended up with the last room available. Although, we were confirmed a Deluxe room with two queen beds, 365 sq foot size room and a flat screen TV, that was not the case at all. The room was around 225 sq feet including the bathroom. The two queen beds had very limited space between each bed. The window had a view of a […] high wall and parking lot and since the TV was moved from the admoire and placed on a writers desk on the far left side of the wall, you couldn't enjoy watching tv because it was blocked from the old broken admorie. The only the guest who had the left queen bed can watch the TV but the guest using the right side queen bed were completely blocked from able to watch tv. Finally after 2 hours going back and forth requesting to change our room, we accomadated to another room. Our night was ruined! We had 3 preteen kids with us and me and my husband. We finally were able to go out and have a little fun with the kids at circus circus. This hotel is way to confusing to find the rooms and located in a bad unsafe area. Lisateave
"Always a great place to stay!"
I have stayed here several times and I have always enjoyed my stay. The rooms are clean, the staff is great and you can't beat the rates. An added bonus was the cash we won in the casino!! I highly recommend the Stratosphere!!!

"horrible"
I found a condom on my bed after i slept in it,,i called front desk all they said was sorry,the rooms thermostat was stuck at 75degrees.all in all dirty crappy hotel one word expains it GHETTO!!X
One good thing about this hotel is if you book the hotel here,you can save the money on tower admission.Also note that the room I stayed in doesn't have a coffee machine.
"Stratosphere Tower"
Room was right next to elevator which was a problem during the night and the hot water would not work right away. It had to be reset and this took 40 minutes. Overall the staff was helpful and went out of their way to help.
"Shady neighbourhood and low on the cleanliness sca"
You definitely get what you pay for. I got this room at the Stratosphere for a very good rate and was thrilled because I saw that the hotel was on the strip (Las Vegas Blvd). However, when I got there I realized that this hotel was way up north and far away from the strip action in a very shady, run-down neighbourhood. I swear 2 out of every 3 people […] you see on the street after 8pm are crazy, drunk, homeless people that ask for change and don't take no for an answer. I walked 2-3 blocks North, South, and East of the hotel to find that the shady neighbourhood extended quite far in all directions. The bath tub in the room was dirty and the room had poor insulation. The hotel has a feel of a "has been", even the restaurants and stores found within the hotel are obviously of a low calibur. To summarize, guys if you're going with a few buddies and you want to save money...it doesn't get much cheaper. But don't take a girl there, she definitely won't appreciate it. Lisateave

Beds were comfortable, but woke up with bug bites, the staff were very nice and moved us to a better room, which was still being cleaned, even though the guy at reception said it was good to go. The whole place stank of smoke, even the towels. A bit to far from the main strip, had to take buses. The staff we really good about giving information, which […] turned out to be wrong, like where you get the shuttle bus to the airport and how much it costed. Apart for the rides at the top, would not visit or stay here again. compared to the other hotels it was def not the best. It was not the cheapest place either so it could have been bettter. Lisateave

"Don't expect much"
This is a very average hotel with a very average price... you get what you pay for. Pros: Right on Duece bus line so it is very easy to get downtown or the Strip. The buffet, although somewhat limited (we only went there for breakfast) was good. Starbucks and McDonalds for a quick bite or coffee. The 50's diner had good food and great service. The […] tower admission is free for hotel guests. Nice pool and I was surprised to find it open this time of year (Feb.). Beds are comfortable and rooms are (generally) clean. Cons: If you get a room in the older section, they are pretty run down but clean (and the room we had was REALLY quiet). The only "cleanliness" issue I found was the year's worth of dust on the headboard. Newer rooms had terrible sound-proofing and we could hear every door slam, every person who walked down the hallway, etc. VERY limited t.v. channels. Front desk wasn't very accomodating with free perks - asked to be placed in a newer room but was told we had to pay an extra $20 even though it was a Monday night and the hotel wasn't booked. Neighborhood is VERY sketchy. I would only recommend this hotel to someone on a tight budget but probably will not choose to stay here again myself. Lisateave

"Stratospher heights"
We thoroughly enjoy our stay at the Stratospher; however, it is a little ways from the centre strip with next to challenging surrounding neighbourhood and pan handlers. On the other hand, the Stratospher is Central to downtown, shopping and the Strip.
"Nice Stay at Stratosphere"
We needed to be near both the Strip and Downtown. The Stratosphere was perfect. Everything was in good shape, parking was easy and everyone was nice. We were very pleased.

"High C/P choice in the Vegas Strip"
It is not a luxery hotel as Bellagio or Venetian, but you do remember that it cost me 38 bulks per night. Absolutely, it is a perfect C/P you can have.
"Stratosphere- good place to stay on a budget!"
Some friends and I just stayed at the Stratosphere for two days, and we were quite happy with our stay. We got a deal on the rooms, though we chose to upgrade to the Select rooms, which I highly recommend. We were all very happy with our upgraded rooms. Staff allowed us to check in quite early, which was fabulous and much appreciated after a long flight. […] The casino area is a bit smoky, but it's Vegas, so you can't really avoid it. The heater in my room was quite noisy and woke me up, though I am a light sleeper. We went up the tower and took in the rides, which were a blast, albeit short in duration. I wasn't happy that they charge for internet, which is ridiculous. I knew going in that the area would be a bit seedy, and it definitely was. We were bothered 3 separate times by shady characters on the street, while walking or waiting for the Deuce, but we just ignored them. I wouldn't prefer walking around outside at night, we tried to avoid it as much as possible. But all in all, we were quite happy with our stay, and I'd recommend staying there for anyone who doesn't mind having to take the Deuce or Monorail to the STrip, and who is interested in saving money on a hotel while in Vegas. "Rides are a most do!"
The hotel is ate the end of the strip but the rides are awesome specially the one that you jump from one side of the hotel; in overall is a good sheep hotel; that way you can bet you money or wasted in something else.

"Stratosphere Hotel"
An older casino that is worth the price if you can get a good package deal. The view is great from the top of the tower. The staff were friendly and the rooms clean, but the rooms were a bit worn out.

The faucet may be replaced due to corrosion. The room is comfortable.
"just one night"
Strip view room was large and very nice. One of the best spots for dinner in the city is Top of the World, the service, food and view are all 10! great one night stand!

"OK room, but horrible service"
The room was ok as long as you're not paying a lot of money. The front desk staff was wonderful and nice. However the casino service was awful. they have rewards cards and the casino boss took my ID for 3 hours then came back and said he couldn't get me one cause evryone went home. If the prices are cheap, then stay here and go to the strip, but otherwise […] just stay at Luxor or excalibur. Lisateave

"NICE"
This was my first time staying at this Hotel. I must say I had a great stay. Rooms are clean, bed is comfortable, and it's just right for the price.
