"A hotel for smokers only"
The hotel was a little tired, it's away from where all the action happens in Vegas... the room was reasonable, comfortable bed, clean, and seemed to be partly renovated. I could have lived with this place if it weren't for the constant flow of cigarette smoke throughout the entire place. "Great for the money"
Off the main part of the strip so you have to make arrangements if you want to spend time at the other big hotels/casinos. Stratosphere was very cool and nice that's included in room rate. Resort fees were pretty low, 7.50 a day, only charged per room for us even though I think it says per person. Annoying that they hit you up for time share when you […] walk in, but that seems to be typical of Vegas in general. For the price, I'm very pleased w/ the hotel. Lisateave

It is good hotel for the price!
"room needs sound proofing and tub was dirty"
The tub was dirty, with a ring around the lower part of it. I had to clean it so my girlfriend could take a bath. Also, the door does not close tightly so it rattles every time some other guest opens their door. Also the walls need sound proofing!

When I booked my room, I was under the impression that I was going to be in a much nicer room. The website for Stratosphere only shows the suites and not the rest of their rooms. Staying at the Motel 6 would have been better. The toilet was loud, there wasn't a slip free matt in the tub, the whole bathroom was smaller than a closet, the sink was next […] to the bed, the window was two feet wide and the ac unit was loud, but it helped muffle the people next to us and the people out in the hall. There was about an inch gap beneath the door. Then I called the front desk for a mini fridge for my diabetic husband's medicine and was told it would cost more money to rent one per day. Horrible place to stay and I will DEFINITELY NOT recommend it to anyone nor stay there myself. Lisateave
Enjoyed the view at the top of the Stratosphere. It was adifferent perspecctive on the city. Would recommend it to friends as an experience to have and would stay there again.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. We were able to get on the bus right outside our hotel. Friendly staff. Ate at the "Top of the World", spendy but on vacation and don't splurge often :) Beautiful view, excellent food & service (I believe our waiter was Eric). I had bad luck I guess but our room got flooded in the middle of the night they moved us to another room but no apologies to us nothing so it suck for that

great service and room service when I needed extra towels were on it very quickly and the top of the tower was very fun. When youre a guest you get unlimited trips up there. I liked it also it wasnt in the middle of all the crowds on the strip. Also the smoke in the casino area was very well filtered

"Very disappointing"
Could not wait to get out of there. The Bath tub was visibly dirty when I first came in. I had to call service, and they took their time getting there, but once there, gave it all about 10 seconds of wiping the tub and left. The bed, while large wasn't very comfortable (way too hard). The windows in this hotel do not open! No fresh air. There is an […] AC, but it's old, very noisy and not very effective in bringing in fresh air. Bell service is good. Did not at all enjoy my stay. "new vegas landmark"
Stratosphere was a very comfortable hotel to stay while in Las Vegas, the accommodations were quite nicely packaged and the employees were all very helpful with any queries. I highly recommended this hotel to all who want a clean and classy place to stay.

I used a "Select Room" in very good condition, probably it was refurbished recently. The casino smelt cigarette.

I stayed here with some friends. The price was so good we all got individual rooms. The place is great, very comfortable. I enjoyed. North of the main strip but close to the mono rail. Good spot for getting to Fremont st. in a cab. I would stay here again.
"Worth the money"
Nice clean room with comfortable bed. TV worked perfectly and the shower was nice. Even though you get a reasonable rate, other micro fees can add up as you have to pay mandatory resort fee as an example and if you would like wifi, that will be another 12 per day.
Nice hotel, staff was very friendly and helpful. However surrounding neighborhood is sketchy and it is a long way from the rest of the hotels on the Vegas strip. The room was small but nicely decorated, it would have been nice to have a fridge as without one it was impossible to keep any cold snacks the room. This hotel also charges resort fees which […] I had researched ahead of time and could find no info on. It was fun to stay here once to be able to access the tower, see the sky jump and enjoy the pool ( which was closed for half of my trip and I was not informed until I arrived) however I would likely not stay here again due to the location and neighborhood. "You get what you pay for!"
It was definitely one of the places you just use for sleep. There was a stain on my comforter that was very large dunno how it was missed. The faucet in the bathtub felt like it was gonna pull out of the wall. We were supposed to get two rooms facing the strip however neither one of them were. "TERRIBLE PLACE UNFRIENDLY"
This place was a disaster to begin with as well as end with. The staff were not friendly nor were they helpful. I would never stay here again. We travel 9 months out of the year, so i am seasoned person who would not reccomend this place to my worst enemy.

All of the new stuff was at the other end of the strip. This side of the strip was old and run down and even the Saraha is shut down.

I understand that the hotel is renovating. We got an older room. While clean and reasonably well maintained the room was a little beat up. the cigarette smoke handling on the casino floor left something to be desired as well compared to other properties on the strip. Staff was friendly and prices were good. Can definitely recommend the top of world […] restaurant. Get a booth and go near sunset. It was the highlight of our stay. Lisateave

"Ok for the price"
This hotel is good, only problem is its down the very end of the strip by itself because a lot of the other hotels have been demolished to build new ones, but they are years away. The room was nice, I asked for a non smoking room, but every second day i could smell smoke from other rooms seeping in ....... wasn't the greatest. The casino floor isn't […] very well ventilated, so if your a non smoker like me, you won't be able to spend much time down there, there are a few other casinos around that are very well ventilated or non smoking. A must do for the hotel though is to go to the top of the tower, free for people staying in the hotel, great view, also the rides up the top are insane! I've your into theme rides, these are a must! Over all, i wouldn't probably stay here again, it was ok, but too far away from the rest of the hotels. But its ok if you did stay here, it was recently renovated. Lisateave

"The Stratosphere-meh"
The Stratosphere is listed as being on the Strip, but it's about two miles away from the rest of the casinos. Taking a taxi to the other casinos will cost you upwards of $11 each way, so you may want to walk it depending on the time of day. The Stratosphere does offer a fair-sized casino of its own and has a fantastic restaurant at the top of the tower--very […] pricey though. There's also an assortment of other attractions located at the top as well. Lisateave

"Statosphere Hotel in Las Vegas - delightful view"
I only booked this because of their skyjumping event, but I quickly found that the staff was very helpful and always with a smile. The room was really comfortable and had a good view of The Strip and the surroundings and Vegas itself. Only downside is the location away from the bars and clubs in "downtown" Vegas. But the bus runs only a 15 min walk […] from the hotel so it isn't that big a downside. Lisateave

The room "select" looks new, probably was refurbished recently. It's a good option with cheap price. The casino smell smoke and is a little far from best casinos.

The hotel is in the end of the Strip, however has some advantages such as free access to the tower, rooms in a good shape and pretty confortable. The only complain that I had was my room, located in a non-smoking floor, had a strong smoking smell.

This hotel is a little bit away from the action on the strip but we enjoyed just staying at this hotel and experiencing the tower. It is also a block away from the largest gift shop!
