Comfort Inn Yosemite Area - Oakhurst

Very large rooms which were comfortable and very clean. Breakfast very good but eating area very very small we had to take our food to the room as there was no vacant seating all three nights we stayed there. Hotel staff not very friendly or helpful, but the overall stay was worth the money.

Very near by Yosemite.

Very good hotel, however just like almost other hotels, it's a little far from Yosemite but one of the closest to the entrance.

They served very good quality of breakfast food... We were so happy for that. And the room we stayed was very clean....

The woman who worked in the morning the day we stayed was very rude (12/10/11); acting like someone just made her mad. When we arrived early and tried to ask her if we could check in early. She was on the phone, didn't want to look at us, and say a short no. We were the first time visiting Yosemite; and my friends flew from LA. That was not a way to […] be treated from a hotel, or maybe the chain hotels do that (oh well). And then, we kindly asked her if we could use the restroom. Again, she looked upset and scolded the restrooms are for hotel guests only. (and we were the guests who just arrived early!) We were really shocked and couldn't do anything since we didn't want her to put anything in our rooms. Sigh...a really bad experience from this Comfort Inn. Will not recommend to anyone. Lisateave

The hotel staff is nice and helpful. The room is big and clean. The rate is good as well.

lilke 90 mins away from yosmite valley and 20 mins from the gate.

It was a bit tricky to find but we were quite pleased with our stay there. Clean room, good breakfast, nice employees. Good value for the money.

This is a good value of money hotel at oakhurst which a fridge, mocrowave, couch, heater/air-conditioner, etc. are fully provided in its big room. The breakfast is also good with boiled eggs, sausages, pancake are all provided.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast in the morning included. Closed to Yosemite cable hbo included and internet The only thing is that they do accept pets but it would had been nice if the website will informed u of the extra charge before u get there.

WIFI signal is really weak, although they have a public PC at front desk

I always stay at this hotel when I go to Yosemite. This is a convenient location with a nice Chinese restaurant next to it. The rooms are nice and big and the service is good. They have very nice complimentary breakfast too. For the price and distance to the valley, this is a great location. I highly recommend this place.

The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the location was okay, but there was a fight right outside my room in the middle of the night and I had to call the police at around 3:00 a.m. Then at about 6:00 a.m. the plumbing went out in the room next door, and the plumber was clanging around the pipes which woke me up. Maybe it was just a bad night, […] but I'm not really making plans to come back. Lisateave

Perfect stopover for Yosemite. Had a great evening at the next door Chinese restaurant and local bar. Hotel was just what we needed, would happily recommend to others who want some value outside the park.

It was great.

For the price I paid, I'm satisfied with the stay. It's 1.5hrs drive to Yosemite if you don't mind the distance. It's close to many eating options and gas station. Breakfast was great too!

Very clean property and good breakfast i might add. The clerks were very helpful. I would definitely recommend.

Very satisfied except for the continental breakfast. Not enough equipment to support the quantity of people served. Example: one toaster made it near impossible to toast any bread after you had served your plate with eggs etc. It was 15. min waiting to use the toaster.

My family stayed in Comfort Inn for three nights while visiting Yosemite Park. Hotel was close to park and was very clean. room was spacious. Breakfast was excellent.We enjoyed staying at Comfort Inn. I definitely will stay in same place.

Thde last town before Yosemite, Oakhurst is an easy 12-mile drive to the park entrance. It also offers as reasonable variety of restaurants, gas stations, drugstores, etc, which you won't find in the park itself.. We had a very good Italian meal ast DiCicco's, just a few blockls from the Comfort Inn.

The hotel is very well located, near grocery-store, restaurant,... During the holly day of Labor the hotel was full, the breakfast area was packed of people, no enough table, lines to ate everything. But tha hotel is good.

I booked this place totally based on the reviews and I am glad I did. Breakfast was really nice although the last day we stayed (holiday) they ran out of the food quickly. I can see how someone can complain about breakfast if they run out of food. Place itself is two star hotel but very well maintained and located in middle of town where there is everything […] you need--restaurants, Vons (supermarket), Starbucks, and even Jamba Juice! Highly recommend this place if you are heading to Yosemite. Lisateave

This Comfort Inn is in a great location in Oakhurst; the room was clean and the beds comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast which was one of the best "continental" breakfasts ever, including scrambled eggs and sausage. We enjoyed using the pool and hot tub.
