Very happy with the room conditions but we had a sofa-bed for the 3rd person in our party and it took 2 trips to the reception to get the sheets+blanket for it. The desk guy kept saying it should be in the room which it was not, else why would we ask for it? Also the coffee-maker in the room did not work and we did not know coffeee was available close […] to the main desk, would have made my morning better :) Lisateave

Room 207 smelled like cigarette smoke. Walls are thin, can hear everything going in in neighboring rooms. Otherwise property and stay very nice.

Staff was responsive to requests, the jacuzzi and pool could have been a bit cleaner but otherwise no complaints. Would recommend this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The suite was very comfortable and clean. The location was so great and near to many restaurants and stores and primarily close to the freeway. They offered happy hour with free wine and beer. Yes I said FREE. We definitely are planning on going there again several more times this year. I would recommend this place to […] everyone. The one and only problem was the ice machine was broken on our floor but not a big deal...just went to the next floor. One last thing...Denney's is within walking distance from leaving the hotel. The hotel is under Construction / Remodeling. The carpet in the room was filthy, shoes or socks are mandatory! The room was not cleaned when asked to do so, that was 1 time in 4 days the room was cleaned, and had to ask for towels. The TV is old style CRT if that matters to anyone. The hotel was noisy at night.

2013 came in late staff was friendly but moved to a handicap r because of overbooking., Hotel was overall was nice however, there must have been water damage from the roof-there was a 5x10 inch spot of black mold on the wall and the wallpaper was pealing because of the mold i would guess there is a lot of mold behind wall paper The room was not clean […] . Was late when I checked in so I put up with it for the one night. I am hoping the other rooms are nicer and this is a room they rarely book. Lisateave

Great Hotel! Friendly service, room was clean and big. Nice area, Trader Joes right across the street, Denny's restaurant in the same parking lot, IMAX theater and shopping a minute away. Great place for families. Very happy with our stay.

It is in a decent area. Convenient. However this is a trumped up budget suites, or a upgraded weekly type motel. I knew I was saving money with the low price and didnt expect a palace, but uhhhhh no. Wall paper tore in room in multiple places. Such as missing a 1ft by 1ft piece. The furnishings were basically how should I say.....depressing. Bathroom […] was barely accpetable for cleanliness. TV's are about 10 yrs old. Lighting is horrible. Breakfast was good variety but very low level quality. This is the first time I have taken the time to do a hotel review but despite the price I was still fairly dissapointed. PS..the pillows on the beds were like half size pillows....more like throw pillows...I have never seen that before. Lisateave

The A/C did not work. Every time we called housekeeping asking for a pillow or a towel, they told us to go pick it up at the front desk. Some dresser handles were broken and the WiFi was snail speed. On the good side, free beer during happy hour was fun. The breakfast was good too. An average experience.

My wife and I were in town to visit a friend from college, so we just intended on spending one night. Overall the hotel was acceptable. It is a bit older and the elevator was quite a distance from our room. Our room window faced the traffic sounds of the freeway but surprisingly did not interfere with our sleep.

Maintenance issues with room, from old water damage that never got repaired, no hot water in the bar sink, towel rack in bathroom was coming out of the wall there was a light out in front of our room for the entire week that never got replaced probably still out today, not sure if your housekeeping staff is not reporting issues or your maintenance staff […] it not fixing things properly but you shouldn't depend on the guest to point out these problems. Securtiy closes the pool early on some days and not at all on others. The breakfast server couldn't keep up with the demand every morning, if you don't go early for breakfast they will run out or the server just can't keep up with the demand. Should have managers help with service in the breakfast area each morning or hire more staff. Lisateave

from the moment i walked in, i felt welcomed. The girl at the counter even apologised for the bad weather. everything about the room (sorry, rooms) was wonderful. if anything i would ask for an expanded TV listing.

Room was not exciting but beds were comfortable and I loved the suite with the pull-out couch and a door between me and a snoring husband. We also enjoyed the full breakfast provided in the morning. We really liked this hotel. Our suite was spacious, with a separate sitting room and a door to close off the bedroom. There was a TV in each room. This is great when traveling with kids. There was a desk area set up with all the connections you could need. Outside the room was a fountain with umbrella tables where you could sit and relax. The pool looked […] inviting, but we didn't use it because it was raining. The breakfast was better than average with scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, yogurt, fresh fruit, muffins, danish, toast, cereals, etc. It was kept well stocked up unitl the very end, and there was plenty of seating. Nothing but positives to say. Staff was courteous and efficient and the room was clean. Great location for our needs. The extra room of the suites was quite welcome. The front parking lot fills up pretty quickly in the afternoon but there are lots of parking spaces in the rear of the hotel which for us was more convenient than parking in front.

I had two separate reservations, one for three nights for my wife and I, and one for one night for an associate's family during the Miramar Airshow. Both were under my name as I was paying for both rooms. When the associate and his family arrived late Saturday, I was still out. The hotel called me to verify that they were authorized to move in, and […] I said yes. When I arrived 15 minutes later, there I found them sitting in my room. It took me over 20 minutes, and the production of both reservation confirmation sheets. Finally they were put into their own room, but the experience was very embarrasing for everyone, especially me. Room has plenty of space. I had a king bed with sofa and living room area. Walls were thin and I15 traffic noice evident. I slept well and bed was comfortable. Fridge, coffee maker and microwave in room as well as wired and wireless free internet in the room. Internet worked sporadically. Room and premises clean and staff was attentive. The free breakfast […] had scrambled eggs, sausage, cereals, waffles, yogurt, muffins n bagels, juice, and coffee, but laced flavor. Breakfast ok for free. The swimming pool and hot tub we're in a nice courtyard. The hot tub was very dirty but the pool was clean. Fitness center was lacking but good enough for cardio.
