We found this hotel a very pleasant surprise, a small family run bavarian style guest house in the centre of Munich, with excellent well kept rooms, a lovely large breakfast room and wood lined bar. The owners and staff were extremley helpful and friendly which made for a very relaxing atmosphere. When booking this hotel we opted for a room only basis […] but breakfast is available for an additional charge which we found very reasonable given that the quality and amount of choice was outstanding. An added bonus was that the internet was provided for free, the trams for getting around the town ran past the hotel with the station about 100 metres away. We would definately recommed this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing city break with a traditional atmosphere. Lisateave

As with many vacations the hotel I choose is simply a place to store my stuff, sleep and have a shower, other than that I do not spend much time in my hotel. However for a good holiday these things are important and this hotel provided me with a great place to stay. The hotel lobby was very nice and the room was fine. The bed was comfortable and well […] heated and always cleaned to a high standard. The hotel is about a 40 minute walk from the centre, however there is not much to see or do apart from the Augustiner brewery so I would suggest catching a tram nearby the hotel into the centre which takes about 10 minutes. Also the nearby train station is on the line from the airport so getting of there gives easy access to the hotel. All the staff where very polite and friendly and spoke excellent English. They where able to help me out with various suggestions for activities and food and even managed to get me a ticket for the Bayern Munich game on the weekend I stayed. To sum up for a short break and to avoid city centre prices this is a fantastic hotel for a holiday in Munich. Prost! Lisateave

The owners are very helpful and do their utmost to suit their customers. The breakfast is as good as it gets. The best in our trip to Germany

This is a really fun and comfortable hotel, with great staff and very close to Oktoberfest. I look forward to staying there again.

It was walking distance (5-10 mins) to a S-bahn stop, and there are sidewalks between them. We were walking during the rain, and got there fine. They didn't have any after hours food, so they directed us to a restaurant around the corner which was about to close for the day. The floors in our room were wooden, and the door had a little bit of trouble […] staying shut (we had to keep locking it). They have a computer downstairs for internet, and wifi was available, but it was an intermittent signal in our room. They also spoke English very well. Lisateave

Hotel close to the nice Augustine Restaurant with good Bavarian meals and beer. Take the Tram 18 or 19 with few station to main Munich train station. Able to buy day-ticket for Munich city unlimited Tram & subway tour.

Hotel was charming and clean. Loved how the elevators didn't match up to any floor (you either had to go up or down stairs)! Reception was excellence - helping us with parking, maps, directions, and dinner recommendations!

This was really good value for money but by the station and not much going on around the hotel although the apotheke next door came in very useful. The internet didn't work which is always a pain when you specifically search for a hotel that has it and the one in reception also didnt work and unfortunately the guy was not helpful and we couldn't find […] an internet cafe close by. The parking was free although can be hard to find nearby and the breakfast was very nice. Lisateave

This is a really nice, small hotel run by the Hahn family, the antithesis to the global chains. Very friendly service and very clean, with lots of Bavarian style wood around the place. Please note that it is NOT walking distance from the Hauptbahnhof - you'll need to take a tram! I found out the hard way. The hotel is located about 10 min. away from the Central station by tram. (Simply hop onto the 18 or 19). The staffs were friendly, 24 hours at the desk to assist you. Room is kept very clean. Though my room was rather too small to stay for 3 nights. For a customer who is staying longer than one night, it's best if you offer he/she a larger space […] to stay for the following nights. We had a lovely three night stay in Hahn Hotel during a very cold period in December. The room was very warm at all times and very comfortable and cosy. The Hotel is very clean and the decor of Baviarn style is very appealing. The staff were very helpful and curteous. The Hotel is very close to Munich's largest Christmas fair and is served by tram which […] leads to underground and mainline connections which makes it very useful to accessing all transport connections. The breakfast was very nice and the cost was very economical. If I return to Munich again I will definitly use this hotel. Lisateave

Convenient location if you feel comfortable taking the direct tram line from the main train station for a few stops; friendly staff; good breakfast buffet; simple rooms with Bavarian touch; recommended as a good value unless you have a lot of luggage to haul around (elevator stops between levels)

The hotel personnel was very warm and kind. The room we had was on the street side, so a little bit noisy, but for us it was not a problem. 5 to 10' from city center by tram (stop just in front of the hotel). Free parking. Good adress.

The Hahn Hotel in Munich was a nice find. Very friendly people and a nice little hotel. Easy access to city center. The owners went out of their way to make sure we were pleased and that our accomodations were suitable. We would definately stay there again. Nothing fancy--just comfortable and priced right for Munich.

This hotel is 6 minutes away from Marienplatz (center of town) by tram. The S-Bahn, that takes you to the airport, is across the street, which makes it very convenient. Hotel room was a bit old, and a little upgrade or renovation wouldn't hurt. Bathroom - same thing. However, for the price we paid it was fine. It was clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast […] (at additional charge) was quite underwhelming. Poor selection (if any) of fruit, cheese, meat. All the hotel staff was very nice and friendly. If you're looking to stay in proximity to Munich center, but don't want to break the bank, we would recommend this hotel. Lisateave

Hotel Hahn was a comfy, delightful and warm place. The staff was so helpful and patient with us Oktoberfest-ers/out-of-towners. I hope to visit Munich again one day and I will definitely be staying with Hotel Hahn.

This is an outstanding family run hotel, that offers a very high standard of service. The staff are helpful and friendly and the rooms very clean but small. Breakfast great and the area around the hotel is a nice residential area while still being close to the station. It was only 5 tram stops to the main train station, so that was good . . . the room and bathroom were quite small, but it suited our needs. We had the windows open and there was a lot of noise, but other than that, a good value for the money.

Nice hotel - 1 block from tram stop. easy access to Munich old town - shopping area. We were there when it was quite warm so the windows were open, nice breeze but a little noisy from street noise. The hotel staff was excellent, and attentive, willing to help any way possible. They had public transportation tickets at the desk...very handy.

Whilst the rooms at the Hahn Hotel are very simple they have everything you could need. The breakfast is well worth the price. They will cook you eggs and bacon to order. Mr Hahn and his wife were very accomodating, and even switched our room when we had a problem with the internet. They upgraded us to a larger room at no charge to put us closer to their wifi connection. The afternoon and night deskmen during the week were wonderful. They […] were full of useful tips for sight seeing and restaurants. They were very friendly, and my wife and I enjoyed hours of chatting with them while drinking wine and beer at the bar. The older gentleman that works on the weekends on the night shift is not friendly at all, and we got the impression that he didn't like americans. There were 8 people in the bar on the weekend, and he was chatting and serving the local german speaking patrons. We stood at the bar for 15 minutes watching him chat with and serve the locals. We tried to patiently wait to be served, and when he finally came to us and we spoke English, he said he had to take care of business and walked away. We waited another 15 minutes for him to return, but he didn't come back so we left for a bar down the street. When we returned from the bar down the street, we asked him for some advice about one of the castles in Munich. He replied that it was almost midnight and that it would be better if we asked someone in the daytime. Virgil was the night Deskman during the week, and we really liked him. I would even say that he made our trip very special. He went out of his way to help us plan day trips, and gave us the history of local attractions and restaurantts. I would definitely recommend the Hahn Hotel, but if you are english speaking, stay away from the night deskman on Friday and Saturday. Lisateave

This hotel is located about 1.5 miles from main train station, the streetcars run right by it... easy to get to and wonderful staff and rooms.. ask for a room off of the street though- a little noisy with the cars and streetcars going by. Terrific breakfast and very comfortable.

I stayed here for two nights in late October. The place was neat and clean, with a good breakfast. I arrived late in the day and had to find the place in rush hour traffic. Not good! It's located on an extremely busy street and parking is near impossible. If you are forced to park in the nearby neighborhood as the front desk for a parking card for your […] window (otherwise you'll get a ticket), another option is to park in the hotels courtyard. Warning, once you're in... your stuck in a tight little space filled with many other vehicles, I had to have the desk lady back my car through the maze of cars and the narrow entrance (which would be an nightmare for anyone else!)... We stayed at this hotel for Oktoberfest. It was a very easy & safe 15 minute walk to the fairgrounds. Public transportation is less than 5 minute walk away if you want to get into city center (very easy to navigate). The owners were present at the front desk every morning/afternoon and always eager to ensure your stay was the best. Very small room and bathroom, but centrally located. The staff is very courteous, polite and helpful. We thought it was a little pricey for the amenities of the room, which were not much. But if you are a budget traveller, needing a room for a night close to Munich center (10 min. on the tram), then this hotel is OK.

It has excellent service, excellent breakfast and beautiful German decor. This is a help for other people, from the central station you take the tram # 19 and get off at Trappentreu Strauss. That's how you get to the hotel. Overall, it was an excellent place to stay.

This hotel was great, the person at the desk at our arrival was so helpful with information and directions to our friends hotel. Giving us a map and marking where we needed to go by either subway or bus. The hot breakfast was such an added bonus, the only hot thing was the eggs made to order but definately wonderful! 选择这件酒店的初衷是因为她看起来非常的具有德国乡村风格，服务人员的穿着都很有特色，早餐还有煎蛋和培根，但是除了年轻的服务人员还算热情外，其他年长一些的对待亚洲面孔的人就不太友善了（个人认为），是我在德国15天行程中所住过的4间酒店里发生不愉快事件最多的一间（其他3间均未发生任何不愉快的事情）。所有费用我都是在网站上提早付清的，可还钥匙时对方还是要我附一笔很莫名的费用既不是早餐也不是房费，我拒绝并找出依据他才没话说，还有我放在床头新买的粉红色眼罩也莫名其妙的不见了，再就是房间的家具又硬有不实用，地板吱吱响，电梯只到半层，还要搬着大件行李爬着嘎吱嘎吱的楼梯才能到房间，还有房门锁是古旧的钥匙才能开关及锁的，这意味着一个人早期出门另一个人也要被叫醒锁门，厕所也是最小的，最扯的是，我老公居然在第一天的 […] 凌晨4点被隔壁房间“嘿咻”的声音给吵醒，足见其隔音设备有多差了。 Lisateave

Ett familjehotel som drivs av väldigt vänliga människor. Väldigt serviceinriktade. Du kan be om det där lilla extra och dem gör allt för att fixa det. Rummen är väl inte någon direkt lyx men har charm. Jag kan varmt rekommendera Hahn Hotel för övernattning 1-2 dagar.

Huone aika erikoinen kolme pientä sänkyä kahdelle pitkin ison huoneen seiniä. Sisustus kirkkaan punaista ja kukkia kalusteissa. Oikein perinteinen saksalainen. Die Zimmer, die auf der Straße liegen sind sehr laut, aber wir könnten das Zimmer wechseln. Die Zimmer, die zum Hoff liegen waren ruhig. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit

Das Hotel ist in der Nähe vom Zentrum und hat ein gutes Preis Leistungsverhältniss.
