It was close to Pacific University, whcih was our detination. It did not seem like the hotel had been updated in a while, but it was clean and well-kept. The staff was friendly and helpful and I would stay there again. Definitely a good value.

The overall condition of the motel is good. The mattresses are a bit thin and of foam. The neighborhood is a bit run down in appearence.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! When I arrived they gave me the keys to my none smoking room, which reeked of smoke. They switched my room, but did not tell me they were charging me an extra $60.00. I spent $100.00 a night and for that money I could have stayed somewhere nice. Everything was dilapidated old and broken. The couch in the lobby had grey scum on the […] arm rests. My toilet and sink were broken. To top it all off when I left they said, "turn right back around, you have to go back to bed little girl and stay another night." I kid you not. SO RUDE, WEIRD and INAPPROPRIATE! Their check in and out is 7 am - 10 pm. Other groups were leaving at the same time and I suspect that it was because they couldn't stand to stay another minute either. They looked as grumpy as we did.HOTELS IN BRATASLAVA ARE NICER! The room was disgusting. The beds were uncomfortable. The sink in our room had a huge chip in it and the toilet would not flush. The motel stunk with an unbearable odor. The price was way to high for this quality. The hotel staff was nice though. Had no problems with them when checking out after our first night when we were actually going to stay for […] two nights. I expected to experience a normal ( in my experience) stay. The first thing that turned me off was that there was no elevator. So, my lady and I had to haul about 160# of gear up a long staircase. I'm 79 and she's 76/ Not a pleasant experience. The maid service was less than satisfactory. We ran out of towels the 2nd day and ran out of toilet paper […] on the 3rd day. The choice at breakfast was less than most continental breakfasts offer. The excuses offered for poor maid service were illogical. The night clerk (mgr.) was very informitive about the places to eat in the area and even made a map for us. He was right on a problem with the toilet in one of the rooms we rented. The day manager was a little stand-offish but otherwise nice.

Obviously an older property and the wear shows a bit, but overall it's well kept. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the amenities are nice. A good value in a fairly quiet area.

The minute I walked into this motel the smell was horrible! The bedspread had cigarette burns in it, the blanket was worn so thin I did not offer much warmth and I did not feel safe in this area. I will never stay at this location again.

The double queen room was spacious. Beds were too firm. Room had tobacco odor which aired out with the window open. Friendly and concerned staff offered us an atomizer to clear tobacco odor or to switch rooms but odor had dissipated by bedtime and was not on the bedding at all. I travel several times per year for business and pleasure. Out of the hundreds of hotels I've stayed at over the years, this one is the absolute worst. Overall: the place is filthy, smells, and is generally disgusting. My story: my wife, a friend, and I arrived in the afternoon on an overnight stay midway through our vacation. The hotel staff was friendly. […] The carpets were filthy to the point of being nearly black with grime, paint was chipped off the walls, and it had that chemical smell hotels get when they really badly need to be refurbished. Anyway, I was given our room key and went into my room and was assaulted with the most awful stench I've ever encountered in a room. It smelled like meat or garbage was rotting, or perhaps a more sewage-like aroma. Either way, it was absolutely intolerable. It also smelled like they had tried to mask it with some sort of cheap floral air freshener. I immediately went down to the desk and asked for another room, which they gave me. The new room, while not smelling of death, still smelled of that headache-inducing floral masking substance that they use. The new room was grimy as well. Stained carpets, chips in the walls, and a horrific bathroom floor that looked to have seen about twenty thousand toilet overflows bathe its linoleum floors. The entire hotel was grimy. The hallway carpets were black, and the whole place stank of cigarette smoke and unnamed filth. Avoid this place at all cost, it truly is horrible. Lisateave

A little bit more "out of the way" than we anticpated, on narrow country roads, but beautiful surroundings and friendly hosts, including the cat in the lobby. Didn't like the "fishbowl" set up of the pool. You are "on display" for everyone in the lobby and dining room.

When my brother arrived with my mother, he decided to see if he could get himself a room. He was given a ground-floor room with a king bed, literally two hours after I was told no. We just wanted a cheap place to stay and that is what we got; it was cheap but not in the best condition. It was dirty like the halls had not been vaccumed in a while. Although it stated that it was non-smoking the odor of smoke filled the place and was especially strong in the bathroom, as were burn marks on the floor.

We were looking for someplace close to our event that was inexpensive. This lodging suited those features. The accommodations were clean but there were burn marks in the bathroom floor and the carpet had wear spots. For a quick overnight stay, it was acceptable.

This is a perfect place in a perfect city location for a very low cost. We didn't need any "specials", just clean and comfortable. That was what we received. Nice to have the small fridge and microwave; coffee.

Last time I stayed here the manager said that I could have my cat stay w/me if I had a litter box. I had none at the time, but has since attained one. So I brought my cat w/me and when he found out, I was told to leave. At the same time, my mother is staying on this trip w/me and has a tough time getting around. Tried to get a downstairs room for her […] benefit but was told at check in that there was none. We were told to leave and when I went to return the keys, the manager had changed his mind about letting us stay. So, I had to convince my mother, who had just gone up and down the stairs (in severe pain) to go back up said stairs. Another thing, said manager mentioned that he had trouble w/us before (on last trip) and that he had to ask us to leave early that time. The only reason we left early last time is because I had to be at work early that day and was not coming back to the hotel afterwards.
