Staff was very nice! Never had any problems. Only complaint would probably be that the walls are kinda thin and could hear people walking above us. Nothing that kept us awake though

Not a bad value, but nothing special. The entry and lobby are smallish and no-frills -- which matched the rest of the hotel. Low drop ceilings in the narrow halls, a functioning elevator that was showing its age, and bathrooms and bedding to match. The hotel is clean and comfortable enough, as long as your expectations aren't too high. As a regular […] business traveler, I have come to appreciate what you get from a new hotel, or a recent (quality) renovation. This hotel is definitely not up to par with a newer Courtyard, Holiday Inn Express, or Hampton Inn. It's also quite a bit cheaper, and all things considered, a reasonable value. Lisateave

My 3 girls and I visited a family member over the holiday break. We've stayed here before and have always been pleased with the quality of the rooms, the nice breakfast each morning, and the good location.We'll stay here again when we visit.

Friendly staff, good breakfast options, rooms not conducive to working, though.

Was not happy about the room we were in. It was just above the main entrance. We could hear the doors open and close all night long

Clean, comfortable hotel. Good pool and hot tub. Friendly helpful staff. Hotel did not have some basic personal supplies I forgot and requested but staff was apologetic. A little bit of a drive off of 1-70 but a better quality than hotels for 20.00 less. Great pillows.

Nice hotel with adequate services. But the noise in the rooms by the street is unacceptable. Make sure you book a room on the back side of the hotel that is as far away from the lobby as possible. The street by the lobby is very busy, on a steep hill, with lots of road noise.

The hotel was very plain, the room was large but not very nice for the price. Hotel is not convienent if you are traveling on I-70. The breakfast was not good and very small and over crowded.

The hotel is a a good value. Not fancy, but clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was well supplied and clean.

This is more of a motel than hotel, but for the money it's great and once you're in there you know it's a Marriot product, which never fails. Staff was nice, room was clean, breakfast was free. Recommend!

Sure it is not the Hilton but the staff were all friendly and answered my questions. Room was setup nice and clean. Free wi-fi. Good continental b-fast.

Small. If you get that word into your head before you go, you might be OK. We were very weary when we arrived. The doors to the hotel are not automatic so to get an overloaded luggage cart through 2 doors that are offset is next to impossible without contorting yourself. The room was tiny. The lobby was tiny. The breakfast offerings were tiny, but they […] do have fresh waffles, which were a high point. Another high point was their computer and printer available for guests. I was able to get on it and print out some tickets I needed for later on that night. I was extremely pleased about that. The hotel is next to the highway - very easy to find. A Braum's and Spangles are next door, so very handy! This worked out fine, but I've paid the same for more room and finer amenities before. Lisateave

Hotel is standard fare. Beds seem smaller than queen. But the reason to stay there is Braums next door - homemade ice cream, fresh burgers... everything is the way it used to be and still should be.

We were in Salina for 3 days/2 nights for a high school graduation. The Fairfield was delightful. Great breakfast and convenient location.

The night desk clerk wwas so nice and informative about dining in the area. Very nice

We stayed at this hotel for a local gymnastics meet. The breakfast was okay,alot of convenience type foods and microwavable sandwiches. The pool was clean and warm, perfect for those of us who hate feeling any chill getting in! Staff was very friendly. Beds were comfortable even though the bedding was outdated. Be careful when getting directions via cell phone. You may end up on a dirt road, but we called the hotel and they help us find them.

This hotel was a good place to lay your head for the night. It was very basic and right off the highway. Good buy for the money, compared to other hotels in the area

Our stay was comfortable, room was quiet and the breakfast was good!

This hotel met standard requirements. Nothing more. I felt the quality of the beds was lacking (although they were adequate) and the rooms were a bit smaller than some others. Towels were not the quality we would like either. The breakfast was lacking in protein items (for low carb eaters). The breakfast area was poorly laid out, extremely crowded (too […] small and hard to get through tables to serving area) and not cleaned frequently between visitors. The pool and hot tub(indoor) were nice and we enjoyed a relaxing time there during our stay. They did not keep up with the demand for pool towels in the pool area. Lisateave

This stay was somewhat of a disappointment. Apparently, the desk person was new or short-handed or something. We couldn't get the TV remote to work and though we called down to the desk, no one showed up to fix it. When we went down to the desk, all she could do was give us new batteries. That didn't fix it. We also had to go down to the desk to get […] soap, toilet paper, and coffee. While there I tightened up the knob on the bathroom that was about to fall off. Good complimentary breakfast, clean swimming pool, friendly desk personnel. Overall, a good place to stay in Salina.

The hotel is in a very good location with easy access to the interstate. However, I think the rooms could use a remodel. The bathroom was a bit dingy. However, the air conditioner model was very nice; it kept the room nice and cool.
