Regal Pacific Hotel Santiago - Santiago

Lovely large room with Mountain views. Great location for the metro system. I hired a car (mistake!) but the hotels location on a main route into the city centre meant navigating was easy and fairly quick into Providencia. Free parking was a bonus as was the welcome drink. Buffet breakfast was great with loads of really fresh fruit and hot choices.

Service was excellent and facilitates very comfortable. Location is very good with shopping and metro across the street. I upgraded from regular room to Junior Suite and it was worth it. Nothing super special, but very nice and comfortable with a great staff.

Hotel is great, convenient to public transportation. Easily got to the downtown area.. THe rooms are amazing, absolutely beautiful. Service is wonderful. HIghly recommend

hotel was really very nice but we had an issue checking in hotels..com had an explantion of the room with a view of the mountains and alarge room with a lot of amenities but the hotel said we had only paid for a standard room fortunately i had a copy of the reservation and the management finally gave us the correct roon.. Great hotel for the price. The staff was always helpful and the secured access to the rooms and facilities are a good security measure. Located in a safe area between 2 major tourist areas and malls and right next to a metro train stop. Very convenient. The hotel is definitely an older style ('80s) design. Great breakfasts! We had arranged in advance for the hotel to have a car meet us at the airport. Instead of curb service, the driver parked the car more than two blocks away and we had to walk - luggage and all. We arrived in the morning after a long overnight flight and we had to wait at the hotel over four hours for a room. We arrived early prior to the 3:00 pm check-in. We were given a voucher for two free drinks in the bar. Our room was ready in five minutes. The room was clean, very nice. The hotel seemed to have a lot of local business travelers. Breakfast was a nice buffet. The staff was very nice and helpful. Location was a it out of the main town. I arrived to the hotel and the bellboy gave me a nasty look because I did not need help with my luggage. Also, the bellboy seemed annoyed about me not wanting to be taken to my room, which is something I don't need help for. I can understand that he is looking to earn a tip, but why do I have to feel forced to utilize a service I do not need, so he […] can get his tip. We were pleased with the hotel room and impressed by their saving power by using the room key to operate lights and air conditioning to elimate unneeded use of power. Everything was very clean and well kept. The breakfast buffet was excellent and there was a good variety of foods available. Hotel was not 4-5* more 2-3 * Rooms were very small and we had a the dirtiest carpet, we had to ask to be moved. No swimming pool, only a knee high paddling pool doubling as a spa. General look was tired... staff were OK if they spoke a few words of English, if not, we were offered no help. Shuttle to shops was not offered, transfer to the airport was […] a mess, and expensive. Breakfast was fresh fruit, plus a hot. breakfast OK. Room was not always cleaned well, and supplies limited. We booked 4 nights and wished we had only booked 1. Lisateave

If you're looking for a nicer hotel, upscale area, I would not recommend this one. BUT, the 'deluxe' room was unavailable n maybe that makes a difference? Our room was clean but dingy. The air conditioning unit was loud n ineffective, tech explained a/c at full capacity n all the rooms were the same. He brought a loud fan n the rotating mechanism didn't […] work. He said that's all they had. I couldn't sleep, the noise had me dreaming I was in a train station w/ trains constantly passing me on both sides. I finally sat up, tried to get on the internet thru my laptop and no internet. All night, all morning. The front desk mgr the next day apologized when I told him I was checking out bcuz the room was unacceptable and wanted a refund for the second day that I had paid for. He put us into a Jr. Suite which was 'satisfactory'. Furnishings outdated, room still smelled smoky, especially at the bed even tho he said it was a non-smoking floor. So they brought a fan in! That one didn't rotate either. No internet again. Tech determined the wireless only worked in certain spots in the room. Not on the bed... He did send a fruit plate and a bottle of wine, which was appreciated. I did NOT feel good about walking in the area. Final disappointment: someone raved in reviews about the chef being the 'best in the city'. Our chef prepared our Caesar Salad w lettuce was not romaine (!!), no way was that cheese parmesan, and the dressing was not familiar. Lisateave

El hotel tiene una de las mejores ubicaciones de Santiago de Chile, a unos pasos del Parque Arauco, donde se pueden hacer excelentes compras y a lado de una estación del Metro que te lleva a todas partes. Las habitaciones son cómodas y el servicio de limpieza es impecable. La cortesía del personal del restaurante y de Recepción es excelente, rápida […] y en atención a las necesidades del cliente. Los desayunos están incluidos y son muy completos y sabrosos. En general bien, sólo que la habitación 601 que me tocó tiene exceso de ruido circundante de los baños de la otra habitación de arriba. Está mal ubicado el shaft pasa por detrás de la cama. Es horrible el ruido, se escucha hasta cuando hacen pis.

Estive em Santiago por 8 dias. A escolha do hotel foi excelente! Bem localizado, estação do metro ao lado, um shopping em frente e a 4 quadras um outro shopping excelente : Shopping Arauco, ao lado de um grande parque. Quartos confortáveis, excelente café da manha e funcionários atenciosos. Restaurante excelente! Valeu.

Não há muito o que fazer nas redondezas, mas há um serviço de taxi do hotel, um pouco caro, mas ótimo pra quem quer comodidade. E há um metro bem em frente. A comida do restaurante é de chef!!! Deliciosa. Passamos um reveillon inesquecível.

Boas acomodações, bom restaurante, pessoal atencioso, mas o ar condicionado do quarto é muito barulhento. Boa localização, próximo a uma estação da principal linha do metrô. Fácil deslocamento para restaurantes, próximo aos principais Shopping Centers de Santiago. Roteiro das empresas de turismo para pegar e deixar no hotel.

Honestamente me parece que la actitud del staff me dejó muy insatisfecha. Son atentos ante una solicitud. No son groseros, simplemente no te hacen sentir bienvenido ni logras sacar de ellos una sonrisa. Se nota que es un hotel de años, pero bien mantenido. Tendrían que mejorar las toallas, ya que me parecieron muy viejas para la clase de hotel y habitación que estuve (Deluxe). Muy bueno el desayuno!

A reserva era para quarto não fumantes, não tinha disponível e ficamos então duas noites em quarto com cheiro característico e o que impressionou é que até as toalhas de banho tinham cheiro de cigarro. Lamentável para quem não fuma. Ponto forte, a trufa de chocolate de cortesia é excelente.
