"Hotel in Junction City KS"
Room was clean. Bathroom had no fan so there was mildew in the bathroom with a slight mildew odor. Pool times 9 am to 10 pm not conducive for customers coming from the west coast. Breakfast times 6 to 9, way to short, for for customers from west coast and checking in late evening. Breakfast room which was good as far as items, except no breakfast meats […] available. Breakfast room which had a tv but not available to view outside the 6 to 9 time frame. Sad the the coffee machine, tv or tables for sitting not available from 9 am to to 6am. What a waste of space for 21 hours. I sat in the lobby to read the paper. Other customers gave me dirty looks, probably because they had no place to sit, and yet there was a large breakfast room three feet away. Why would you limit you customers to there rooms and a lobby? A hotel should be more flexible with pool and breakfast times and give the customer more options then the lobby or room to sit and wait for whatever. Lisateave

"Junction City, ks Howard Johnson"
This place is disgusting! The staff were smoking at the front desk and made the entire place reek. Water in the pool was ice cold and no towels to be found. Bedspread had stains on it. The toilet was loose from the floor. The faucet plate in the shower was loose and shower head wobbly. Had a roach crawl in front of me as I was packing to leave, had […] I seen it when I got there I would never had stayed! Will never stay there again !!! Gross!!! Oh, the windows don't lock either! It was about 95 degrees that day in Junction City. We got into our room at 11pm and the air conditioner was not turned on. Apparently, the housekeeping staff had forgotten to turn the air on in the rooms that were booked for that night. I asked to be moved to another room, but the girl at the front desk said that none of the rooms would be cool. She […] assured me that it would only take 15-20 minutes to cool down the room. It took over 2 hours for our room to cool to anywhere close to a comfortable temperature. I would never stay here again....most uncomfortable night I've ever spent in a hotel room. Lisateave

The hotel itself wasnt very clean the rooms were okay beds uncomfortable maid kept coming in without knocking the continental breakfast sucked bad no fruit one kind of cereal and i did like the location and the price thats the only reason i would ever stay again
decent price for what you get. i used this hotel as a place to stay during the country stampede this year. i enjoyed all that i was able to use.

"Indoor pool unusable"
We live 2 hrs from this hotel but were down in that area riding atvs. We stayed at that hotel to use the indoor heated pool but it wasn't heated and way to cold to use that was the only reason we stayed. We won't stay there again we should have just driven home.
This its an excellent hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My kids enjoyed the indoor swimming pool.
Needs Mold and Mildew removal in 1st Floor rooms. Smell in room 105 is intolerable.
"Good nights sleep at reasonable rates!"
Here's the truth of it! We choose this hotel because of it's rates and stay there at least 3-4 times a month while traveling on business. In todays economy with hotels costing as much as $180.00 a night this was a great value. The staff are very friendly and willing to serve in anyway they can. The beds were very comfortable, and although it's not in […] the best neighborhood it was quite there were no loiters and no one bothered you as you came and went. We felt safe and secure and there are places to eat within walking distance (Like right next door and across the street) The free breakfast menu is hot although it would be nice if it changed alittle from time to time for frequent travelers like me and my husband. Maybe a little less sugar for diabetics and those watching their weight? But over all we slept well all five nights of our stay and did it at a reasonable price!! One word of warning their internet service is great if you can use a public network but the paid secure network that's provided by a company called Ovation is a nightmare and all I can say is don't do it!! That is until they get a new ISP which I'm told they're shopping for. On a positive note there is an indoor pool although we did not use it, it looked inviting . . . maybe next time! "Mixed bag"
This hotel is a mixed bag-- the bathroom was clean and well maintained. The refrigerator and microwave were also clean. However, the carpet was gross! I don't think they had been cleaned in decades- if ever. Also, security was a concern. The outside door (at the other end of the building away from the front desk) was never locked. There was a set-up […] to require you to swipe your key to gain access but the door was never locked. Kind of scary at night since my room was next to the unlocked door. The best part of the stay was the location. Given that Manhattan, KS was sold out in my price range this worked. Not sure I would stay here again but I might. Lisateave
"It was just okay"
The room itself was comfortable, but the air conditioner was noisy as was the vent in the bathroom. My room was directly opposite the ice machine, so that added to the noise orchestra.

"Visit to Ft Riley"
Stayed at this hotel while visiting my son at Ft Riley. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was great!

"not worth the money"
I had two rooms booked. The first one smelled weird, but the second room had the most issues. The carpet was unvaccumed, one bedspread had a mystery white stain on it and the other had cigarrette burns. Staff gave us a new bedspread but we were still uneasy. Definately not worth the amount I paid for one night. I have stayed in better and cleaner hotels […] for the same or less. It served its function but it was hard to be comfortable in such filth. "Good value for the money"
Gigs: a couple of the outlets in the room didn't work consistently, and the hot breakfast didn't include any meat, just scrambled eggs, waffles, muffins and biscuits. But for the money, a nice clean hotel with an indoor heated pool and spa, mini fridge, microwave, free wifi and cable was a good deal.
"WOULD STAY AGAIN"
Good breakfast bar, we had requested non-smoking room got smoking room instead although all of the rooms were to be non-smoking. Comfortable beds, customer service was good.
"Could have been better"
The bedspreads were somewhat dirty and the shower wasn't completely clean. It was supposed to be non-smoking room but this was a two packs a day smelling room. Otherwise, the location was great for our needs, nearby accommodations were excellent, very friendly staff and the beds were comfy.
"needs improvement"
The best thing about this hotel is the wonderful inside pool. It was nice and warm. It was hard to get past the pink wallpaper,and red bedspreads.
